Yeah and the Blender Children. Also, Clu Gulager's sexual fetish is hilarious. I think the film is actually a solid companion piece to "Repo Man", also produced by former Monkee Michael Nesmith.

And i think NOTLD is a new scan too?

But even if Bull Durham is a new 4K scan, again I don't consider it a high profil title like TSOTL.
There aren't many films ever that have the profile of The Silence Of The Lambs. But in all fairness, if you're making a list of the biggest films (both financially and prestige-wise) released by Orion Pictures, Bull Durham makes that list (along with The Silence Of The Lambs, of course). It's the movie that made Kevin Costner a star, more so than No Way Out (another great Orion release) or The Untouchables (which was Connery's and DeNiro's show more than his).

I would've bought the album that had "Mr. MX-7" on it (wasn't that Stiv Bators from The Lords Of The New Church? So many musical artist cameos, it's tough to keep track, although I loved Jello Biafra's appearance).

And yeah, a Tapeheads/Repo Man double bill would be fantastic.

No Way Out is great. The Big Clock was no slouch and they came pretty close to being just as good.

Speaking of which, I still want The Big Clock, dammit.

Somebody get on that.

I owned the Criterion laserdisc of Some Like it Hot. My guess is they will release it.

I just watched Westfront 1918 last night and say I must say it is the top anti-war films ever right up there with All Quiet on the Western Front and La Grande Illusion. Also, make sure to watch the Q&A session with the German and French WW1 veterans, that was one of the best extras listening to the discussion of life on the front and at home.

Now if Criterion could only get Wooden Crosses over here since it got a new 4K restoration from Pathe in 2014 which is better than the Eclipse DVD version.

Had no idea No Way Out was a remake of The Big Clock.

It'll happen now that I've bought Big Clock digitally.

I can't be positive but I think No Way Out might have turned me on to The Big Clock. I want to say an Ebert review but it was a long time ago

I own films far worse than Bull Durham, but it would probably be a while before I squeezed it into my Criterion budget. Hopefully others are more excited about it. I think Shout’s going to win the week for me with their Wild at Heart announcement.

Hmmm...I was trying to convince myself it was an upgrade for HAMLET, somehow...but you all seem to be closer to on-the-nose than I am.

Field of Dreams blows Bull Durham away in my opinion.

(at least in terms of drama)

The above list isn't complete but it will give you a good idea of what 4K DCPs are currently available to theaters from Park Circus.

Well, it certainly doesn't blow it away in terms of accuracy. In Field of Dreams, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson (Ray Liotta) bats right-handed, which the real Jackson never did in his life.

Any film can be a silent film. Just watch them with the volume down.

Voila! Problem kinda solved!
