I don't use it at all! So that leaves me out. Cool giveaway, but I'd only really be interested in The Third Man, for the extras, and I guess the rarity of it. The Studio Canal 4K remastered edition in the UK will do me fine.

I've been patiently waiting for a Knife in the Water BD upgrade, as well as hoping Paramount would license The Tenant.

How do you apply for a job at Criterion? Anyone know how to get in there?

After a good deal of waiting I just ordered for the UK release of Knife in the Water, so you can expect an announcement of a 4K restored Criterion blu about 2 weeks from now

If you have solid experience in the home video field, I suppose you could send in a resume. I doubt a "will intern for blu-rays" note will work.

Definitely would love to get these two as well as the incredibly twisted "Bitter Moon".

This may be an odd choice for the Collection, but what are the thoughts on Private Parts (1997)? No announcement or rumors. Just a question for the group.

Yep. C'mon, Criterion! I need it in my collection for those nights when I hate life.

It's also been 3 years since the last Bergman, but that should be rectified this year.

YES! Knife in the Water is one of my biggest Blu-ray wants from them. Great movie. The Tenant would be great as well, never seen it.

Never seen The Fearless Vampire Killers or The Pianist, but would love those too.

von Sternberg and Dietrich collaborated on these seven films:

The Blue Angel (1930)
Morocco (1930)
Dishonored (1931)
Shanghai Express (1932)
Blonde Venus (1932)
The Scarlet Empress (1934)
The Devil is A Woman (1935)

Kino-Lorber holds the rights to The Blue Angel, but with the exception of a region-B "French, without any English subs" release of Blond Venus, none of the other titles have any blu-ray history at all.

I remember The Scarlet Empress was hinted in the most recent New Year's sketch, and I also recall a newsletter clue for a Dietrich box set, but has anybody heard anything regarding the other titles?

The thought of having these seven titles in my collection is making me salivate.

If it were going to get licensed from Paramount, I think it would be a better fit for any US label besides Criterion over Criterion. [Maybe not Arrow, I don't know if Stern has a big enough UK following that it would be justified.]

Arrow would make sense, but I agree with your UK assessment.

It’s a well made film. I’d just like to see a handful of features to compliment a proper treatment. I’m not a major Stern fan by any means, but it would be interesting to see.

It seems too soon for Sex, Lies & Videotape but I have to think True Stories and the inevitable Grand Budapest Hotel releases are getting close.

I wonder if The Grand Budapest Hotel will be Criterion's entry into the 4K UHD market.

Anderson's newest film, Isle of Dogs, is already available to pre-order on both 4K UHD and standard Blu-ray. I imagine Criterion would need to release this film in 4K in the future, too.

I believe tomorrow’s (well, maybe) announcements will almost certainly include the Von Sternberg set & 8 Hours Don’t Make a Day.

Furthermore, I would love to see one or more of the following:
Adaptation.
The Devils
Female Trouble
Lost Highway
Pink Floyd: The Wall
Sixteen Candles
True Stories
Welcome to the Dollhouse
