I just discovered a pair of twin artists from Italy named Anna and Elena Balbusso (incidentally from an illustration in a Reader's Digest issue). I think their work is incredible, and would be a perfect fit for Criterion. I don't know if there's any way to get Criterion to seek them out, but I'd love for this to happen.

Eight Hours... still has at least one round of U.S. theatrical screenings, in May in Berkeley at the BAMPFA. Not that I expect it to tour that much, but I still imagine they'll wait a little.

Only in the sense that they both feature gates, and trees, and have a softer color palette. The style is fairly different though. That one was a commission for the children's book The Girl with the Glass Bird
