Mikey and Nicky!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cassavetes and Falk are beyond perfect together in this. Easily the highlight of the month for me.

I'm always amazed when long-rumored titles are finally announced by Criterion and people complain about the artwork or something so small and meaningless. Some are just never happy.

Criterion could use macaroni art for their covers and I wouldn't care. I'm just glad to get a (hopefully) great presentation of "In the Heat of The Night"!

I saw In The Heat Of The Night in the theater, 50 years ago. Look forward to this newest presentation.

From Wiki :

" In the Heat of the Night was first released on DVD in 2001. In 2010, the film was digitized in High Definition (1080i) and broadcast on MGM HD.

In 2014, MGM released the film on Blu-ray."

None of these are mandatory purchases for me but I most likely will watch a few of these titles first in the hopes of possibly buying them. It's a good start to 2019.

Not familiar with this one, but it interests me the most. I bet Falk and Cassavetes play off really well with each other.

Of the ones I've seen announced; I highly recommend watching "In the Heat of the Night" and "Notorious".
