Could the male couple also be Happy Together?

I'm still hoping for a standalone release of 25th Hour at some point in time. I'm not a big Spike Lee fan but it's truly one of the greatest films of this century.

Maybe a stretch, but could it be The Flavor of Green Tea (Tree) (Over) Rice (Christ), a film we know is coming?

Hopefully, Swing Time means we are getting an Astaire-Rogers set. Also, I think it would be safe to say Chungking Express or a WKW set is coming out in mid-2019?

Does the man to the left remind anyone of Harold Lloyd? TCM showed many Harold Lloyd shorts in 2018 and I remember a few with a baby including Grandma's Boy.

In another short called For Heaven's Sake, he was singing in the missionary to his paramour.

Could we be getting a collection of shorts?

I got Klute right away, because I was looking for it. Swing Time was pretty easy too. I'm glad you guys are knocking down the rest of them.

No idea if that film will get a physical release, but it'd be pretty cool.
Interesting. I wonder why phantom pages are normally created? There are so many titles that I would die to see on Blu-ray that have phantom pages.

You guys are good. Swing Time and Klute are the only ones that jumped out at me.

Really looking forward to ST!

Speaking of Lloyd, I was just reading how 1923 films are now in public domain (effective 1/1/2019). There are some Keaton, Chaplin and Lloyd films among others. Any chance Criterion releases them?

The Ten Commandments by Cecil B. DeMille (not his 1956 version, but rather the earlier silent first attempt)
Safety Last! and Why Worry? by Harold Lloyd
The Pilgrim by Charlie Chaplin
Our Hospitality by Buster Keaton
The Little Napoleon by Georg Jacoby (which features debut of Marlene Dietrich)
The White Rose directed by D.W. Griffith

A Woman of Paris, directed by Charles Chaplin; starring Edna Purviance

Could the tree by any chance be The Sheltering Sky from Bernardo Bertolucci (1990)? After all, this movie has never been given a US release yet.

Also, has the rabbit in the hole been deciphered yet? It wouldn't be Donnie Darko I'm guessing. An interesting theory also I have: If Hedwig and the Angry Inch is for sure one of the releases, then could John Cameron Mitchell's movie Rabbit Hole be a clue? After all, he also wrote and starred in Hedwig.

I wish the tree was just Taste of Cherry but there's nothing with the title, only the tree on the dvd cover.

I believe all of Kiarostami's films are being worked on.

Was After Hours speculated on the drawing? If there's an NYC movie that needs a Criterion (or a Scorsese), that's it.

25th Hour would make my year.

It's partly for War and Peace (1966-67) (Warren Peas).Warren being a name for a rabbit burrow, which I had no idea. Some have speculated it could also be for Rabbit Hole.

Take another look at the bottom of the tree...could those be Godzilla's three toes (and yes, I know he has four in some films) ?

Could the Jesus and the V be something along the lines of the number 5 for "V"? Or could the V symbolize the peace sign (v sign)? Think of the palm as well (Palm Sunday) with the V. Like the 5th palm or hand. Or palm and peace and five. Or maybe I'm just overthinking this?

Yes, the clock. A previous year had a clock too and After Hours was speculated but of course that didn’t pan out.
