A little bit sad that there wasn't a Godzilla hint.

The Heiress is one of my top ten wants. Great news if true.

Do these teaser images roughly indicate the order in which the titles will be released? Like in this case, going from left to right. I have been dying for Klute. I need it NOW.

No. But I think they've been working on Klute for awhile, so I think it should be soon.

The S balloon very likely is for The Heiress, but someone at the Criterion Forums was thinking FLOTUS (float S), aka First Lady of the US, which made me think of the movie Jackie. The Fox release was pretty light as far as extras go, and there's apparently a commentary available digitally (and on international releases). I think the film would fit nicely in the collection, but this is a huge stretch.

Not clue related but I saw The Assassination Of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Tremendous film, lacklustre BD. And I can’t see Warner revisiting it. Would be great if it got a new scan and release from Criterion. Would also love a commentary by Dominik.

You follow that up with A Place in the Sun and Clift would certainly be (deservedly) well-represented in the Collection.

Could we be getting a collection of shorts?

What do you mean by short? I only know those films as features.

I tried to stay away from this thread all day, as it grows and grows with posts from the clues like it does every year. I have been pulled in due to curiosity, but would love the Readers Digest version of what people think are solid upcoming releases. My laziness will not allow me to read the last 10 pages or so....

I made a list like that for people like you. Some others have been mentioned since, so here's an updated summary

So far..

Definites:

Klute
An Angel At My Table
Koker Trilogy
Diamonds of the Night
Bamboozled
War and Peace (1966/67)
Swing Time
One Sings, The Other Doesn't
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Europa, Europa

Strong possibility:

Columbus (2017)
The Heiress
La vie de Jésus

Maybe pile:

Rabbit Hole
Children of Men
The Gods Must Be Crazy
Funny Games
After Hours

Unknown clues:

Board Game?
The tree itself?
Clock time significance?

My mistake, I mixed it up with a short I saw with Lloyd babysitting called "I Do". Sorry again about the mistake!

The films I posted about are both an hour long features. I envision an Eclipse set with those hour long features, which probably couldn't be standalone sets. Either way I would really more Harold Lloyd to be released.
