Heck yes! I would be there instantly!

I can definitely see a Kurosawa box set with an upgrade of Red Beard in the very near future.

Ever since they announced the Bergman set, I've had my fingers crossed that it would be Kurosawa coming in 2019 or 2020. Despite nearly all of his films looking like staples of the Criterion Channel, I would still purchase box set Day 1.

There are also Stray Dog and Drunken Angel which should also be upgraded as well.

Anyone else seeing issues with titles such as Steel Helmet and Stagecoach? When I click play all I get is an error message that "this title is not available in your country." Everything else I've tested has worked fine.

I actually watched 'Stagecoach' last night (and a few of the features) and it worked fine for me on my AppleTV in the US.

I only want a Kurosawa boxset if it contains Blu-rays of films that haven't been upgraded yet.

After loading up on all the standalones due to impatience, seeing a comprehensive boxset drop from Criterion would probably drive me to the breaking point.

Just watched In the Mood For Love on the streaming service. I liked it. The last 10 minutes or so started to lose me a bit, but I really liked what came before it. Will check out more of the director’s work.

ITMFL is one of his best. I don't know if it's available with Criterion's service but check out 2046, which is a kind of spiritual sequel. Chunking Express is also good, though not IMO as balanced. I was bored by Ashes of Time Redux and Grandmaster but others here may tell you different.

It was alluded to by the KL Insider that two other studios had a smaller deal with Studiocanal. One of them is Criterion.

I'll concur with those hoping for a Kurosawa set. With it being Fellini's 100th birthday next year, I would think we could get a Fellini set?

Will we see Dead Ringers, rejoin the collection and the other ones that Criterion doesn't have from Cronberg?

Doubtful about Dead Ringers. I would hope Shivers, but it’s under Lionsgate.

Of Cronenberg’a not released, I would personally love a release of Crash, Spider, and Dead Zone!

I’m hearing rumors about a Russ Meyer box set.

I just hope they give Wild Gals of the Naked West a stand alone release.

...it’s an an important film.

Random question about movie cases.

Someone experiment some kind on "mist", "fog" on the Scanavo cases? also some has some strange circles.

I clean each case inside/out and it and is possibly remove it. It's like some mist.

It's strange but I open each movie when arrive to my hands and already have that, I mean is not my room humidity or something, they arrive to my hands like that.

Same happens with Criterions etc. to all Scanavo cases, even normal BluRays.

Any response to the mistery?
