I agree, but depends how much leeway Warner bros. has with Janus/Criterion. I never thought I'd ever see the day that we'd have a 4k UHD Criterion release, and I'm still skeptical about this. It really makes no sense since many new Criterion BDs have 4k transfers to begin with (which upconverts nicely on a 4K tv).

Just because a movie doesn't have a convoluted plot it doesn't mean "nothing happens" in it. A lot happens to Michelle Williams' character in Wendy & Lucy, for instance. It just doesn't involve any action.

I haven't seen that one. And I didn't mean it as a slight, though I definitely am not a fan. A lot of people like movies for all kinds of reasons other than typical plot-driven ones.

I mean, I'm a fan of Terrence Malick and nothing happens in his movies either.

Not likely since both of those along with River of Grass have already been released by Oscilloscope in the US. Old Joy was with Kino but it looks like they let the license expire.
