I got the same. $10 from Criterion Channel and a $50 “loyalty” certificate that’s independent of the $50 certificate for points.

I got a certificate last sale, and immediately used it for a second order. With my order today, and the second small one I’ll place tonight for three or four more films, I’ll be within $40 of another $50 certificate.

Those certificates can come quickly, depending on where your point total is. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there were people that got one with every Flash sale.

The loyalty certificates have nothing to do with the points/spending ones.

It’s for “loyal” customers so I guess if you order enough on the site on a regular basis (or order enough during the sales) you get one.

Once you have $500 in cumulative purchases you will automatically get a $50 GC sent to your email. It's almost immediate so my usual routine if you are close is to order just enough to get you over the $500 mark (and FS), get the GC then make a second order.

Of course you could save it until the next sale. I had 0.09 leftover from the Feb Sale so they don't expire.

It normally takes me 2-3 eyars to get to $500 since I still make most of my purchases at B&N through the year.

I really wish they'd have another DOUBLE POINTS sale which the one time I remember them doing it allowed you to buy GC and earn a $50cert after only $250. That was just before B&N started blocking coupons so it was still substantially cheaper to use B&N then so I didn't think ahead and stock up on GC.

I would assume you could use any certificates you have on one order.

Load up your cart. When it comes to the payment method, enter the first code, and apply it. You should be able to enter another code and apply it as well. I’d be extremely surprised if you couldn’t.

Have you seen Local Hero before, or was that a blind buy? The synopsis sounds intriguing, and Burt Lancaster is near the top of my favorite classic film actors. The reviews on IMDb are glowing, so I’m debating adding that to my second order.

Of the Hitchcocks, I've only seen Foreign Correspondent, so I'm excited to watch the others. Solaris I just watched recently and it instantly became one of my all time favorites. Super excited to dive into the special features on that one.

The Three Colors trilogy is sublime.

Rumble Fish is one I’ve been meaning to see, and buy. Coppola did it right after The Outsiders, which was fantastic, and much of the cast from it appears in Rumble Fish., as well.
