Wow. Good luck with that!

When I go to see more art house movies I always get some old fart with their wife having to loudly explain what just happened. They also don’t know how to turn their loud ringer off.

So I hope my screening of A Hidden Life is not full of reuse people, old and young!

Ugh, that sounds awful. OTOH, I can't imagine that's an easy thing to do with Malick's films. I mean, I LOVE his films. And I would have a hard time constantly saying what's happening. I do not mean that I don't understand his films. But to give a "play-by-play" would be difficult. A play-by-play of Tree of Life? I don't think so.

And it's probably my favorite film from this century. It really is. It's not only visually beautiful but, especially for someone like me who never really had a family beyond parents, it meant a lot. It meant a good deal. Watching that movie was an experience for me.

I could go on an on.

Fortunately (?) for me, my list for this sale is very short...but expensive. When We Were Kings and Godzilla: The Showa Years.

It's a great deal for Criterions. Better than B&N's sale in many regards.

Imagine what that old fart would do with a David Lynch film! He'd talk during the whole movie and still not know how to explain to his wife what the hell is going on. Anyway, let's pray we all have enjoyable and immersive movie theater experiences as they're supposed to be!

Dang, the categories with those questions must been all gone before I tuned into Jeopardy to have it on Fox for the World Series game. I only ended up tuning in just as the first round was almost over.

I’ll be upgrading my DVDs to this new set. I consider this Josef Von Sternberg collection to be essential.
