Oh I'd never seen the video. Just checked it out, and it looks the same as the drawing, so it's definitely a single ladies nod.

Yeah as others said, Beyoncé wears that weird arm accessory/fingerless glove combo in the video. Though I gotta say, how it's drawn here, it looks like she has a bloodied bandage on her hand or something, lol. Anyways...I'll stick with An Unmarried Woman as my best guess, with a throwaway mention of Beineix's Diva (1981), if Criterion wants to double up on Beineix after releasing Betty Blue.

Also, kind of unrelated, does anyone else think/hope we'll ever get a Denis Villeneuve boxset?

I feel like August 32nd on Earth, Maelstrom, Polytechnique, Incendies, and Enemy would make a great part of the Collection.

Nah, I doubt it. Maaaybe a release of one of his pre-Prisoners films, perhaps.

Yeah I know, the “nah, I doubt it” was meant to be in response to releasing a Villeneuve box set, specifically. A stand-alone release of one of those earlier films, yeah I could see that potentially.

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood.

Personally, I'd be hoping for August 32nd on Earth and/or Maelstrom as neither of these have Blu-ray releases anywhere in the world, and their DVD releases are long OOP.

If the clue is for An Unmarried Woman, it means that Disney is still licensing Fox titles, and that makes me happier than the release itself.
