Someone posted it a little while ago, but no harm in posting it again. Now, I wish someone would ask him if the Irishman has any chance of getting a release by Criterion.

It probably would be released with American Boy and not standalone I’m guessing? Both are on YouTube and I watched recently. Good—but not sure I would need to buy unless it had a lot of good supplements

Any indication yet that Criterion has Spellbound?

"Notorious", "Rebecca", and "Spellbound" are a packaged deal from my understanding. I wouldn't be surprised if "Spellbound" needs more work than "Notorious" and "Rebecca".

It's probably coming soon. They also have plenty of British Hitchcock to release, too.

The British Hitchcock's would make a lot of sense as a boxset

Are those British Hitchcock confirmed though? If so, which one(s)? We know Kino Lorber got most of his restored silent features now and it's been almost seven years since Criterion released his British sound feature, The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934). I really wish Criterion to release Young and Innocent but never heard of anything concrete (I know there's UK Network Blu-ray released in 2015, thank you).

When Sabotage was on TCM last it had the Criterion logo and all the ITV owned Hitch films are with Criterion here. Of course that doesn't mean it confirmed for a release.

Oh, thanks. Didn't know that. That's enough to keep my fingers crossed and wait.

I noticed that when I watched my recording of it, as well.

Some people were mentioning it earlier and saw now that Scorsese’s Personal Journey through American Movies is available on Kanopy

It's uplifting compared to Manilla in the Claws of Light. I just saw that one last week - a better name for that film might have been Murphy's Law.

Glad to see this will finally come out. I really hope they release it with his other short and mid length films (American Boy, It’s not just you, Murray, etc)

What a convenient little sale. A nice opportunity to finally add Stalker and Autumn Sonata to my collection.

Edit: omg, by ordering those I earned my $50 certificate at long last!

I missed it. The only thing I saw on FB today was an ad for their Hausu t-shirt, which I really must purchase someday. What was it?

If you read the comments under their Holiday Sale post you'll see screenshots of the political post.
