Criterion almost certainly has EWS. Criterion would literally be thinking outside the box with the Eyes Wide Shut clue, which is exactly the kind of thing that Criterion would do.. The only part I'm not sure about is the Shut part, since Lee's eyes appear to be open to me.

But E + YES + Wai (for Wide) + Shut (maybe because they got the Bruce Lee titles after Shout ) isn't that much of a stretch

I don't know if I believe it's an Eyes Wide Shut clue, but just to play devil's advocate, I don't think you need the car or the Robert Lee. The E-box is wide open and then Yes-box is still shut.

Really hoping the Eyes Wide Shut thing isn't an extrapolation. It'd be my most anticipated Criterion release of the year (I'm in the minority not being a big boxset fan as it's too complicated to import).

Hell ill say something wild. With only 4 boxsets hinted and nothing else really. Could a lack of hints mean they might finally go UHD? Nothing hinted outside of Bruce Lee is revelatory news here.

I'm surprised anyone is disappointed by the minimalism of the clue drawing.

We'll see what the final contents are, but if they're going with the "big box" approach, we're getting upwards of 50-60 films across four boxes.

That's on top of the singles we know we're getting in 2020 like The Cameraman, Brand Upon the Brain!, Come and See, The Great Escape, Amores Perros, Taste of Cherry, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, etc.

They went OOP so those that missed out will get a reasonably priced option. I'm always happy when titles stay in print.

It's disappointing in the sense that we already knew about nearly everything here. And it's 's been a yearly tradition for many of us here to try and figure out the bounty of clues that are usually in the drawing. The drawings were also just fun to look at in the past, seeing all the clever ways the artist represented the movies.
