Lovely art for the Sciamma.

The Klimov and the Mazurski will be mine.

Maybe WB will respond to the demand and give it a 10th anniversary UHD release.

I saw Portrait of a Lady on Fire at the theater. It really deserves a UHD release, but I'm good with whatever Criterion gives us.

I'm also in for Come and See and The Cameraman.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire was the last movie I saw in a theater, and probably will be for some time to come, but I'm glad I finished on a strong note. It's an absolute masterpiece, and I'm thrilled it's part of the Criterion Collection.

Great to see Tokyo Olympiad getting a standalone upgrade. A phenomenal piece of filmmaking, and for me, the crown jewel in the 100 Years of Olympic Films set. No doubt I'll triple-dip come sale time.

Not familiar with the other titles, but one or two sound like they could be interesting blind-buys at some point.

Have to say that when I saw the word Cameraman in the link Scottie posted, I got excited thinking it was the documentary on Jack Cardiff which I stupidly didn't pick up before it went OOP...

Nice mix - will definitely be getting Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Come and See, and Tokyo Olympiad.

Half way point and none of the four boxsets from the New Year's Day clue have been announced. And with that thing going on that some here don't want mentioned, I'm wondering they are all still going to happen this year?

These too.

Personally, I want to see Thirty-Two Short Films About Glenn Gould (1993) get a release on BD at some point, either from Sony themselves or Criterion. Just not Mill Creek, please.

No way to be certain, but a number of past box releases have coincided with the B&N sales in July and November. Maybe we'll get lucky next month.

I've emailed them twice about when Come And See will be released - the first time was about a year ago and I didn't get a response; the second time was last month and I got a response saying "We're working on it!" lol I thought they just said that to shut me up but apparently not.

Very happy about Portrait of a Lady on Fire!! but the lack of subtitled commentary (from the french BD) is kind of a let down to be honest. Was really looking forward to listening to the commentary track because I know Sciamma revealed a lot there, judging by whatever bits people have translated and summarized online

With all the depressing news lately, that Come and See announcement really brought my spirits up! It's been my most anticipated release for awhile.

Criterion seems to release a boxset every July for the B&N sale, so I would expect one to be announced next month. Praying that it's either the WKW or the Bruce Lee set.

That was my first reaction too. Including once again kicking myself for not picking it up years ago.
