I remember I taped Clue off of HBO in the mid 90s, and I watched it constantly after that. That movie was also my first exposure that is Michael McKean (I was already an avid Christopher Lloyd (from BTTF) and Madeline Kahn (from many Mel Brooks movies) fan.

Just kidding about that last one.
I wouldn't complain about a CC release, though I haven't seen the movie for a long time, so it might be cheesier than I remember (which it is a movie of a board game).

Although, I watched it a couple weeks back, I agree. Plus, "Clue" has Lee Ving from FEAR as Mr. Boddy. Gotta love that!

I think Criterion has lied to us.

I would, but I'm at work and my DVD is 1500 miles away. I guess I'll need to settle with finishing my homework tonight, so my birthday tomorrow will be homework-free and Criterion-filled.

Could definitely be worse. I posted in the "WTB" thread here on BD.com that I was looking for it. Someone contacted me and we worked out a price that worked for both of us.

[Show spoiler]$53 incl. expedited shipping and all PayPal fees. Came sealed in a Scanavo.

Tell your boss "I'm quitting and going home to watch Clue!". Then turn to your peers and say "Who's coming with me, man!"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTIKN...56ED5&index=12 Sorry this crappy video is the only one I can find.

Honestly, I died laughing in the theater. And I have to admit that Thornton nailed that role.
Best line would be "Well, they can't all be winners" when the kid opens the thing and finds the candy-corn...... I was dying...... but I digress.

Goodness, that sounds fantastic. Where are you from? I ate my sack lunch in the cafeteria, haha. I can't wait to go to the market in my hometown when I head home for Thanksgiving. Nothing better.

When it comes down to it, and you look back on life, you realize that HBO showed some certain movies way too many times back in the '80s.

By the way...

Where I'm from isn't important........ but I'm in Cleveland now (which..... if you think about, isn't important either )

I went to school in Cincy though..... You guys have the "Fremont" street market if I'm not mistaken? (It's called something like that) Also you have Jungle-Jim's up in Sharonville or wherever that is.... that place is great

One of the best songs EVER!. My fave line: "Has anybody seen my tambourine?" Here's another gem from this beloved film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMSAF...eature=related

Hah, gotcha. Very true. So many Ohioans around.

Nice! Yeah, I go to UC, actually, and work (co-op) at GE Aviation up in Evendale. You thinking of Findlay Market? I'm really not that familiar with Cincinnati other than Clifton, admittedly, haha, so I'm clueless. My "home" is ~20 minutes east of Columbus, so I go to North Market down there. But I must say, after going to Philadelphia for the first time this summer with my girlfriend, North Market is nothing compared to what they have there. And yeah, Jungle Jim's is a site to behold. They're actually building a second one if you can believe that.
