The Deep Discount prices are pretty bad, especially with the B&N sale not too far off.

I know that no one has a crystal ball, but if you had to guess, do you think the Godzilla set will get released with different packaging at some point?

...or is it going to be the same Dirk Diggler-sized book two years from now?

I highly doubt it. But you may put it in a few regular Criterion/Scanavo case, there must be some great custom cover art for it

You might be right.

But seems it would be cheaper to go with more conventional packaging at some point.

...that book looks like it’s expensive to make.

Does the term "digital intermediate" mean a digital copy of the camera negative or can it mean a digital copy of an intermediate print?

I think conventionally, it means the camera negative - they scan the negative to prepare the DI, which is then used for post-production activities - editing, color grading and VFX.

I am all in on that Varda set! I haven’t seen all of her films yet, but Le bonheur might be my favorite.

"Varda by Agnès" was supposed to have it's DC theatrical engagement at the AFI Silver at the end of April - that of course never happened - I'm so stoked for this collection!

This was expected but I didn't expect it to be that early I guess. Just watched Cleo for the first time and I fell in love with it. So glad that a Blu-ray for it is finally coming out after just watching the DVD version! O Lucky Man!
