Wasn’t aware of this.

Was this the fix or is there still something wrong with it?

It's still botched even with the replacement. There's an awkward fade before the title reveal when every master (and how it was shown theatrically) prior to this Blu had another seamless transition:

I finished watching Touki Bouki today and I thought it was interesting. I will probably check out the other movies from the Martin Scorsese's World Cinema Project sets. I'm not sure if the animal cruelty in the movie was real or not.

Just finished watching Claudine. It was incredibly thought provoking. I especially recomend the scene with Larence Hilton-Jacobs and Diahann Carroll on the front porch at night towards the last quarter of the film. The script is incredible. The ending was somehow feel good despite it's context. This is just from a white guy who has never heard of this film before the announcements last month, but more people need to see it (it has only two ratings on this site as of typing this) more people need to check it out.

A proper release of this film would be one of the holy grails of HD home video for me.

Criterion is going to have to include Dersu Uzala if they ever decide to do a new Kurosawa box-set. Perhaps that will be when we will get a proper release of the film.

I discovered it last year when it was on TCM's Essentials with Ava DuVernay, and on one viewing, it shot straight to the top of my all-time favorites list. I'm so looking forward to other people having the same revelation I did.

Randomly curious why Criterion opted for the Bruce Lee set to be “one” release instead of giving the films individual spine numbers. Even the running time notes the totality of the set as opposed to the single films.

So I'm quite pleased and I feel my wait for one of my favorite noirs in HD has finally been fulfilled (the TT disc flew under my radar until too late), in addition to being a great birthday present. Any fans of this film shouldn't hesitate to grab it.
I got my copy in from B&N about a week ago. I was going to wait until October, but decided, "nah!" I got it, Come and See, and Portrait of a Lady on Fire. That's just a little tease before October. My Flash sale order, however, is going to be absolutely massive.

They are consistently inconsistent with how they number box sets.

How does the picture quality of Bruce Lee set compare to the other Blu-Ray releases available.

Recently watched Leave Her to Heaven (first time) after watching Laura and loved it. I can't believe I have never seen this before. Glad to see it has a good transfer. Definitely adding it to my collection in the future.

Is Criterion's release of the blu-ray of Lone Wolf and Cub going out of print?

I hope Criterion will pick up Manhunter in the near future seeing that Shout Factory has lost the rights to it. It would look nice next to their The Silence of the Lambs Blu-Ray.

One possible reason could be that they do not intend to have any separate releases of the individual movies. Perhaps their licensing deal stipulates that.

This could be a silly question, but on the L'Avventura blu-ray, is the menu supposed to remain visible during the Jack Nicholson readings? There's no way to get rid of it without returning to the main menu during that supplement. It appears during the Nicholson readings the menu is forced in.

Never had that problem with my other Criterion releases (I sadly do not own L'Avventura yet) but I can tell you that the menu isn't supposed visible during any supplements unless if you press the menu button (To check the menu of course). If pressing the menu button again or pressing any button that exits out the menu doesn't work, then that is most likely a technical problem with the Blu-ray (Maybe contact Criterion's support team about that).

The Jack Nicholson readings on the L'Avventura disc are audio only.

Yes. Nothing wrong with your disc. As Peschi stated, it’s audio only
