I think this has been cancelled in the uk. My hmv preorder is showing an error, can’t find it on the site and not available on Amazon.

I just ordered the first film sight unseen, which looked really good from the trailer. I’m not getting the same vibe from the trailer for the second film though, but the reviews seem to be good and the consensus on this thread seems to be favorable. Might hafta pick this one up too…

I much preferred this one personally. The first one, to my mind, is a fairly generic family travel to avoid danger (ie most of the Ice Age movies). The second one has a much more unique plot, but they’re both worth owning. 3D is good in the second one too!

If anyone is wondering, I just checked the US disc and it has English Atmos and then French and Spanish DD.

Are you sure? The BD Info scan that I did back in February shows that the US 3D disc only has English (Atmos) and Arabic (DD 5.1) tracks. I guess I never actually verified this in my player but I'd be surprised if the BD Info scan is incorrect.

Pretty sure the info on the back of the US release is for the 2D disc. Counterintuitive, I know.

lol, normally if they don't specify that means it's for both discs. I guess we're at the point in 3D bluray's life where they either don't even think about it when they make the cover, the 3D release was planned late, or they just took the 2D cover, slapped a 3D banner on it and called it a day

Yeah, the cover has the Dutch title along with the French title. This looks like a Benelux release, I think.

French audio (Dolby Digital Plus 7.1) is available on both 3D and 4K discs, as per the back cover.

Thanks for sharing, can you confirm for Jlardonio if Portuguese is on the 3D Blu-ray? The original post you made makes it sound like it is, but the back cover apparently disagrees (but back covers are often wrong)
