Obviously it was a big enough deal for you to be so rude and say "are you high".

On topic...

Simon Birch, VERY sad movie.

Same with me. Usually it's the score. Transformers does it to me.

I don't cry, but I get that closed throat "awww here it comes" type feeling, and I try to suppress it as best I can.

Saving Private Ryan, Australia (I KNOW! ), and Tuskegee Airmen come to mind quick.

I'll try not to list too many others that have been previously mentioned...

Movies that made me cry:

Angel Eyes -
[Show spoiler]When Catch speaks at his family's grave, and when Sharon records the video for her father and he still won't speak to her.

Changeling -
[Show spoiler]Multiple moments, but especially the ending when Christine hears the story about her son, but they mention that he never makes it back to her, even if he was still alive.

The English Patient -
[Show spoiler]After Laszlo travels all that distance, gets captured and then makes a miraculous escape, only to make it back to Katharine too late. So gut-wrenching!

Everything is Illuminated -
[Show spoiler]Right near the ending, after Alex's grandfather has committed suicide, when Alex finally understands why he did it.

Finding Neverland -
[Show spoiler]The ending, where they perform the play for Peter's mother.

Ladder 49 -
[Show spoiler]As Jack finally realizes he's not going to make it and gives his dying words to Mike.

The Perfect Storm -
[Show spoiler]Of course, the ending.

Rabbit Proof Fence -
[Show spoiler]Again, the ending. When the sisters are broken apart, and they show the real sisters and you can see the longing and hurt in her eyes as she says they never saw their youngest sister ever again.

The Secret Life of Bees -
[Show spoiler]When May drowns herself and Lily and August find her body. Just gets me.

Movies that made me well up with emotion:

Black Hawk Down -
[Show spoiler]When Hoot says his piece at the end, right before he heads back into the fray.

Space Cowboys -
[Show spoiler]The ending, where Hawk chooses to die on the moon, and fulfill his dream, rather than come home and die slowly with cancer. So bittersweet.

Tears of the Sun -
[Show spoiler]A few scenes make me well up - 1. when the soldiers witness the atrocities of the genocide, firsthand for the first time. 2. as the soldiers gather together and decide saving the people is most important. 3. when they sacrifice life and limb to save as many of the people in the end, and never give up on one another.

We Are Marshall -
[Show spoiler]A few moments, including right after the crash, but mostly when Nate wants to be put back into the game with his shoulder injury but the coach won't let him, and Nate breaks down.

We Were Soldiers -
[Show spoiler]All of the scenes involving the wives delivering news of fallen loved ones.

Lots of movies make me tear-up, so even though it isn't full-fledged crying it is still rather embarrassing.

Rarely, though, am I crying from the get-go like I did with HP7.2 and UP.

Aside from those two, it is often the dumb little subtle things that get me, not usually the big intended emotional moment.

Toy Story 3 - what I thought was the ending (at the incinerator) and then again at the ending proper

Little Monsters - I was young

Band of Brothers - really several parts. I got to meet Winters before he died, of all places the day they opened the WW2 memorial with my uncle. Probably the most amazing moment of my life. A man of few words, but when he talked, you listened.

The only movie that's caused me to tear up a bit is the montage about 15 minutes into Up.
I was blazed as hell the first time I saw that movie in theaters (on occasion I am not able to control my emotions in this state), and the music really got to me (ditto).

The two most recent for me:
Drive
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2

And Lion King always does, and still brought it back at the 3D screening. Amazing movie.
