And you wouldn't know what movie it is if you saw empty marionette strings? A character from the film is just too obvious and boring. I like the idea of clever items that only evoke the spirit of one movie
No I like the strings idea. I wouldn't know if it was an obscure character or a whale. The strings without a marionette would work very well. But like I said, I do like Jiminy and I like how he pops out at you.

It's my personal opinion that this cover is just way too dark for a (classic) happy family movie. It kind of gives me a sinister feeling about it, that's not good at all with this movie.

On the other hand, I have to say I think the design is very good, it just doesn't fit the movie... at all.

In a dark sinister voice:
64 years after Pinocchio gained the power of growing his nose when lying, Pinocchio is about to rule the world with his evil powers. He already killed the man who gave him these powers, Geppetto. Will the blue fairy be the saviour of this God-forsaken world and defeat Pinocchio once and for all?
[Show spoiler]Well... it is a Disney movie, so she has to.

Seriously, this is what I think of when seeing this cover.

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

@Shockfly: I know exactly what you mean, but I'm trying to give the covers a uniform classy look. I do agree that this might be a bit too classy for a happyclappy movie like Pinocchio, but hey, it does have dark themes doesn't it?
Okay, I'm really just trying to scare kids away from my BDs .
Beauty and the Beast (Unfinished)
Princess and the Frog

Well... that classy look is certainly working in terms of uniformity. They all look gorgeous in that theme. No doubt about that, you have skills.

Although I personally wouldn't go for this kind of theme - I don't want to scare my kids with The Pinocchio Chainsaw Massacre, Princess and the Exorcist and Sleeping Psycho - I have to admit it looks great overall.

Looking over these, I think they're great. No, they don't work for people with kids, but adult collectors would love to use these. Maybe you should call the series something like "Disney for Bachelors"

I am working on a cover for I Am Legend. I really like the rusted sign. Not sure about the back though. Thoughts?

Edit: The drop shadow looks more extreme in the compressed version than it does in the full size 300 dpi version.

I like the first one best, However i personally would change the spine colour to green to match the rest, If possible i would also show more of the back image of him and the city, possibly extend it out across the with of the back.

But these are only my suggestions, other than that i like it

showing him, some action, and then some landscape, or of the women

I have a question. I have looked through the thread and the discussions in the group and cannot find out where to get the case layout like this. I would like to see my covers in this format. Help?

I like it... But, Yeah, J.C on the back is a bit too colorful. The other user who suggested the Monstro on the back has a killer idea. You don't need him on the cover twice really.. (Back/Spine)

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone was working on a custom for BBC Life. A scanned version would suffice (back of the outer box, not the green frog version of the inner pack pls) and I'd be very appreciative.
