Here is the latest Harry potter covers
the first is a modified version of my previous harry potter cover that now says part 1 on it, as i gave in and decided to have 8 cases rather than making it 7 like the books. the second is for the upcoming release of the final harry potter bluray.

i am aware that there is a size difference between the spines this is due to me being indecisive about what size boxes to use

Nice work with the "Potter" covers, Cragman. one little piece of advice, though: you may want to align the spines title with equal amounts of space, between the "HP" and Blu-Ray logos. My only other suggestion would be to place a small pic on each of your spines, but you'd still need to realign the logos anyway.

Default Artwork needed.....

Wow, these are great! I am in need of cover art for "Primal Fear" and "Wanted" since I bought these two on eBay for cheap and they came without case or cover art. It doesn't even have to be custom; if someone could just scan in the artwork and post it or e-mail it that would be great. Thanks! Again, the artwork here is outstanding and adds a whole new dimension to a blu-ray collection!

Black space doesn't take up any more ink than coloured space, that's not how printing works.

And black ink is generally a lot cheaper than colored ink. I can buy a black ink cartridge for my printer for $4 whereas a color catridge is about $20.

But I do agree with Imrahil that in general I prefer custom covers that use black space sparingly.

True, an all cyan cover doesn't use more ink than an all black cover. Then again, in real world use, you seldom print a surface 100% in any one colour, but there are many instances where a surface requires 100% black coverage. That eats up black ink pretty fast.

But for most of us, it's just a matter of taste and aesthetics, not using black as a background colour. If it was a matter of economy, we'd make mostly white covers, wouldn't we? Speaking of which, I don't think I've ever made a white cover?

Home inkjet printers aren't known for their fantastic quality though, I have a few problems with mine too. But with professional printing that should never be an issue.

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone here has done a cover for the Ice Age trilogy? I've looked & can't find one, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. I'm looking for one that would work for all 3 movies stored in a 3-disc case like this.

Is it just me, or do the colors of the new ones you made look more vibrant than the old ones? The old ones look like they have some sort of fade on them.

Trilogy 3-disc version to come using the same concept.

These are conversions of the beautiful VHS special edition case from 1993. There were just some small adjustments to be made to fit the emblems of the later films.

My new scanner has a very narrow depth-of-field, so scanning the dimensional cover wasn't totally successful. The out-of-focus bits lose some detail if you look closely, but I masked it with some Photoshop-generated noise.

I have a Jurassic Park font on my system, but unfortunately it doesn't match the title treatment precisely. I still think it was close enough to give it a pass.

I tried varying the shades of grey subtly across the covers, but they may end up looking not so subtle, or even identical, when printed. I'd love to hear from some real-world users of these.

Distributed by PM as always.
I'd prefer the titles on the spine and back have black outline, so they op more, and are more in like with the logos on the front. Otherwise, nice and clean work. Kudos.

They do actually, but not a thick, ugly stroke. It's a slender black glow, just to give some added dimension to the letters.

Yep funny story, (well it made me smile) turns out my calibration of my home monitor had gone wrong and when i took these to work and loaded them up i had too tweak all the colours for print as my work monitor was adjusted to our large format printer, so i had a sort of crisis at that point of trying to get each one tweaked and then matched to each other , the final prints all look really hi quality and colourfull now. but not updated the artwork on my space online.

when you say small pic do you mean like the ones of harry that i have on the side near the top on each one from each year?

all of them are aligned its just because the images our still being tweaked, i have the first 7 films printed and sitting on my shelve they look great all aligned next to one another.

Can you please Make all the spines the same size (Vortex size) and change the ratings to the American ones and send me some download links please? I am incredibly impressed by these covers. There absolutely incredible.

Incredible work Nissen.

In my ongoing effort to come up with a template for multi-disc collections I worked up this 6-disc set:

and this 5-disc set:

I already have the 2-disc collection sets down with my "Highlander" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" sets.

Do either of these collections need to exist? I would vote strongly that they do not.

No more or less than any other actor-specific collections. I also have a Sean Connery collection, a Clint Eastwood collection, a Tom Cruise collection and a Keira Knightley collection

I even have a Kate Mara collection - which I acknowledge is stretching it a great deal

And I'm working on a Clint Eastwood Western collection for six of Eastwood's non-The Man With No Name westerns.

It's all personal taste. I create these customs for my own enjoyment and use. If other people like them and want to use them that's fine, if not that's fine too - I'm not keeping score.

I was just questioning your need for these specific ones. I can understand liking the actor or finding her attractive, but it's a movie collection, and most of the movies they're in are god awful.

ESPECIALLY katherine heigl

Granted...there are some real stinkers in there. But isn't that all the more reason to lump them together in a "collection'.

For a lot of actors I often intentionally fill collections with their lesser movies, leaving their stronger movies as standalone cases on the shelf (point of example on the two collections in question is my two favorite Jessica Biel movies are "The Illusionist" and "Next", but they remain by themselves on the shelf.
