Custom Friday the 13th blu ray Scream Factory artwork request:

I would be willing to pay a few bucks for someone willing to send me that VHS artwork for part V, the I Love NY artwork for 8 and custom artwork for Freddy vs. Jason.

Custom artwork for Freddy vs. Jason would have the back ground coloring of the official Scream Factory FvJ artwork, but the picture of the New Line blu ray artwork with Freddy and Jason looking face to face, and the lettering being a little smaller and red like on the artwork for The New Blood. With the lettering on the spine being red.

The smaller picture on the spine of FvJ being a small picture of them looking face to face also.

Can anyone do that?

Depends on the printer. I have a Canon and their high gloss seems to give great results. HP paper just smears ink.

Is the Canon paper brochure paper? As in glossy on both sides? I have and have recommend nothing but a specific line of Canon printers for the last 5 years in this thread and have never had significant issues. If you're getting smeared results its likely time to clean the printer heads and check the alignment.

Any glossy photo paper will work just fine for single sided covers, but only the above linked paper is glossy on both sides resulting in a retail looking/feeling product for folks that print reversible covers from my experience.

I didn't get severe smearing, but it didn't give the color like I liked. It is my experience that brands are chemically formulated to go with specific branded paper. The difference was phenomenal to me, and the HP paper had issues. I got no such issues with Canon paper.

I remember getting smearing with a similar HP paper if not this exact one.

While I don't really love the Canon logo, I find that their color pop more with the specific high gloss paper. There is a double sided version that is good as well (though harder to find).

Perhaps it is time I give HP another try especially if they are cheaper. Thanks for the heads up, and maybe my experience isn't as correct as I remember it to be.

I also always set the print quality to High and not normal. This last change results in dramatically different/improved picture quality.

Yep, always print photo covers in high quality setting. I have a Canon tank printer; I've tried to print a couple of covers using some of my mums HP photo glossy print paper, just to see what the result would be. The quality is perfectly acceptable, but my prints on Canons own Glossy II paper just have a bit more color pop.

If you are printing covers that are mostly black or dark, you might want to use standard glossy or semi-glossy paper, if you want to avoid those reflective and shiny blacks on your cover.

Well, it was nice while it lasted, I just got a DMCA removal request from my website host regarding the image used on my Halloween Signature Collection cover, so it will be removed today and replaced at some point soon.
