I was never really happy with the first collection and have since decided to convert my entire collection into clear scanavo cases, so... yes, I did in a way abandon the original concept, but I'm much happier with this new collection and the way they look on my shelf. (And it's nearly complete!! which is a relief.)

Most of the concept art collection was finished (at least up to date with the films that had been released and even some that at the time hadn't been) but I no longer have those files, nor do I have any plans to go back to designing in that style.

I'm really sorry if me being indecisive has caused any problems, but this new collection has turned out exactly how I always imagined it to be. It may be a spendy conversion, but to me at least it has been worth it.

Thanks for the update! Again, LOVING the new collection! I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Question:

What kind of paper do you guys print on?

I went to staples to print some of mine and used a semi glossy paper, but my images came out really dark.

any advice? should I just use matte plain paper?

HP Glossy Brochure Paper. It's a tad bit thicker than stock, but it works fine and holds up the ink well (no warping). I print mine on my HP Officejet Pro A909g. It's not a fancy printer by any means, but the result is indiscernible from a retail cover when it's in the case.

Hey there groovy people.

I have a request if it's no trouble.

I was wondering if someone could make me a custom cover of this below, except with the Blu-ray logo, not HD-DVD. And get rid of the "Best in picture, sound, and interactivity" on the back of the cover.

It would also be cool if you could throw in some golden oscar logos / academy award fonts somewhere in there as well. Thank you!

I hope someone makes a cover for the upcoming Noah movie. The official cover is a photoshop mess.

Hello, I've been using HP Premium Presentation Paper, MATTE, 2-sided.
$15 at Office Max for 100 sheets. Using on HP OfficeJet Pro 8500, with its regular ink. And the appropriate settings, of course.

I'm happy with the brochure paper, but I was curious how is the thickness of the presentation paper as compared to stock covers? Why do you prefer matte over glossy? Thanks.

I use a light card stock for mine. Printed on a Canon laser color copier.

I enjoy the look and the case plastic gives it a slight gloss.
