Thanks I reached out to this person to see if they would share cover.

I think I could recreate my own version if Nissen would share the movie screen shots from back of cover and front cover. The covers that are out there for this movie are just bland.

I'm pretty close to finishing those Batman covers. I've just got one problem. I haven't watched every episode of this show, so if anyone knows a good quote to put on the back of the season 3 cover, that would be helpful.

One of my favorite quotes from the show is from Catwoman:
"T.T.F.N. Ta-Ta For Now"

I don't know why, I just always liked it

Another good one is when Batgirl leaves a room and Batman says "How does she do it?"

I never knew Catwoman said that - I thought that was stolen from Tigger (Winnie the Pooh)

First time reading this forum after I saw in another thread a custom cover for Duel. It looked freaking awesome. Huge thanks to whoever made it. And an overall thank you to all the people who make custom covers. I've been reading the past pages of this forum and there is a lot of awesome custom covers. I kind of want to change the covers for Duel, Sugarland Express, and some of my Clint titles. I was thinking about going to print them out at one the supplies stores, but one of the users here mentioned how they didn't allow it anymore. What printer do you use for the covers? The type of paper? The process some of you users go through? I'm a "noob" in this land of custom covers. Bear with me.

Tigger said it first, and Catwoman stole it. But it's still a quote from the show.... so it counts

Hi JF.

Not sure what you're asking here? Recreate it how? The stills from the back were grabbed from a Google image search (IIRC, that is. It's been a while since I made that cover, 2011 in fact.)

The front poster was modified at the client's request to remove the fly-person that was coming out of the pod. I'm afraid I can't share that, but you won't have any trouble finding the original poster. The font used for the title treatment is regular Impact, and I used Agency for the other text.

Here's the before-and-after edit I did on the poster at the time:

Default Herbie/The Love Bug custom Blu-ray covers by Nissen

Here's a set of Herbie covers I've recently finished for a client. I'm happy to say I am free to share these, so PM me if you want them.
(I know I'm slow in responding to PMs, but I do answer them all, except the rude or snarky ones.)

Those of you who already grabbed the previously available Love Bug cover, please note I had to make a small adjustment to the spine on it to better match up with the sequels. The only difference is the placement of the title treatment, so you may not feel it's worth the bother to download and print a new one.

I mainly used the European artwork by Brian Bysouth for these. (Not sure he did the Herbie Rides Again artwork, though.)

Here's hoping the DMC completes the set someday.

I wouldn't have. They are fine the way they are...

Can anyone tell me if there are adhesive labels that actually go all the way to the opening on the disc?

I just used Avery's 8962 labels and the film they use is far better than the obsolete "CD Stomper" labels I had. I did still use the stomper, though and it worked perfectly. I just wish the labels would go all the way to the small hole in the disc.

These are referred to as "full face" labels. I'm sure a search will turn up what you are looking for.

Default Ex_machina

Universal has international rights and is releasing in Europe about 6 weeks before Lionsgate releases in the US. This cover is a US style sized for standard case. I'll probably update the back when the Lionsgate release gets closer. Until then, this is uploaded at EuphoricFX.org if anyone finds it useful.

BTW, I do want to take a moment to talk about the front cover image. My preferred art is what Uni used on the Euro release, but without all the clutter...

There is no key art or other "clean" image with this background or sized for Blu-ray case dimensions. I had to make this puppy from scratch. I'm fairly pleased with myself, and I think this is what epitomizes why custom cover art exists. It's about making something the way we want it, not the way someone else thinks it should be.

Made these using the character posters to give an option outside my other customs (just the logos) and as a BONUS - Unused Batman 1989 poster art!
