Well said Nav. It's part of the game, and let's be honest here I think we all like to see a little bit of contact once in awhile in baseball. It isn't exactly the quickest of sports.

He's out for the season....who knows...he may never be the same again...might be the end of his career as far as we all know today...no one can predict how successful he'll come as the same Posey.

I don't care if they change the rule or not, but I bet we'll see a catcher breaking his neck one day...it's bound to happen. Or maybe we'll see more leg injury...

At first, I wish karma on Cousin and hope someone break his leg someday..but after reading how he tears and wanted to apologize to Posey...then I forgive him. He's okay in my book now...

It really is. In the grand scheme of things how often do catchers really get major injuries from plate collisions? Not that much. There is no rule change necessary. Collisions at the plate are part of the game.

Our bats are on fire today. And the dude having the least to do with that is Josh. I don't even think he's got a hit. No wait, he at least has a double. But right now in the bottom of the 5th, we've got 4 HR's and 7 R's with 2 on base and Kinsler at the plate.

The Twins' surprise pitcher tonight had 7.1 innings of no-hit pitching and Danny Valencia lifted us in the 10th with a bases-loaded single. Tough 1-0 win, hopefully Liriano will be good to go tomorrow.

mrf, would you say Alexi's turning into a legit ace? I'd say yes. I thought CJ could turn into that, and he may yet still, but right now, Ogando's our number 1. I mean his last start (I think it was his last start) was a CG shutout.

He got blown up in the fourth, and aside from Nefti, our relievers did pretty well. The last inning and a half was pretty awesome on our part. Make sure to check out the highlights. It was an exciting ending.

Yeah well, he wasn't supposed to be that good anymore. By the way, Davis just exited after 2.2 innings pitched giving up 11 hits. As good as we are with the bats, I don't know that it doesn't have to do a little with him. I kind of feel sorry for the guy. When you're that early in the game and the crowd is cheering the managers walk to the mound...

The Rangers will win that division, as long as Josh Hamilton stays healthy. The stupid 3rd base coach is the only reason he missed that month anyway.

20 hits. Only 11 runs. I want it all. Napoli and Moreland came to play. Good because I was a little worried about starting this run with series' against these Rays, then Indians, and then Tigers. I'm less worried about the Twins than I was a couple of months ago.
