Default Dark Knight Live Chat Chat Thread

I figured I'd make a thread for all of our BS'ing during the commentary, that way the Mega thread isn't filled with pages of random crap that's totally irrelevant in 2.5 hours. Easy cleanup.

I really dislike Maggie Gyllenhaal in this part, I don't care for Katie Holmes either but replacing her with Gyllenhaal was worse than replacing Rachel Weiz in The Mummy.

Little late for this I know, lol

I've had Klipsch for about 7 years now, just got the Reference's last year, and I'm loving them. The sub wouldn't have been my first choice, but I got everything cheap through a Klipsch accommodation program since my wife works at Best Buy. I eventually want to get an eD.

Good question about why the Joker card is in the judge's papers. Never thought it was how he got her DNA.

Yeah...good question. Good little bit of insight.

Love Klipsch, but I piece-mealed this system together, starting with the RC-25 about 3 years ago and the RS-25s two years back. Just got the RF-25s last year to complete the set. My sub is an old Yamaha from about 7 years ago when I first got a surround system.

Everything seems to be running much better since the pause for technical difficulties.

I think my next purchase will be an amp . . . I love the speakers and can't really even think of what I'd get to upgrade them, at least until I've got some more money to throw around. I'm sure the amp will make them sound brand new to me again.

First, Klipsch rules...

Second, I didn't think Maggie Gyllenhaal was nearly as bad as everyone said. But replacing Rachel Weisz in The Mummy trilogy was a mistake. She has a much, much larger part in both films than Rachel's character in the Batman films. In fact, if you took Rachel Weisz's screen time in The Mummy alone and compared it to Maggie Gyllenhaal and Katie Holmes put together in the Batman films, I bet Rachel would still have more screen time.

I KNEW the assassination sequence was a nod to The Godfather...subconscious or not.

The funny thing is, I think Rachel Weiz should have replaced Katie Holmes, lol. She looks much closer to her than Maggie, and is a great actress.

Plus, you'd also believe The Joker when he says "...and you are beautiful". Not something I think is possible with Maggie on the screen.

The questions and answers are scrolling up the chat screen pretty quick, hopefully they will have a record of all the questions and answers at the end?

Here's probably a stupid question . . . why does Bruce shoot multiple bullets into the bricks? I don't get what he's trying to compare, unless it's just how the bullets shatter when they're in the bricks.
