That is all great and dandy...

For REC 2020 NOT copy protected with HDCP 2.2....

The sad part here. REC 2020 doesn't "need" hdmi 2.0. 1.4 spec(which 1.4 to 2.0 is nothing but speed) is already fast enough. But, EDID.

BD player will go, "hey what are you?"

TV/AVR responds "hi, I'm 1.4, and I'm fast enough"

BD player, "I don't care, you aren't on the approved list".

TV/AVR with 2.0 responds...

BD player, "cool, fast enough, you are on my list, but the content you want won't allow me to send it cause you arent on its' approved list..."
