Let me know what happens (i.e. tell me if there is any difference in how long accurate proprietary information typically lasts in *science* before ‘evaporating’ by deletion ) as I’m off to the land of Loonies and dem bears.
Penton,

Assuredly someone will post at AVS that you don't know what you're talking about because their cousin's Uncle told them differently

awww, look at you... adorable.

Have a great trip, if you're on the expense account West (http://www.westrestaurant.com/) is a pretty great, uh, "westaurant", full of local cuisine, but you're no doubt used to such extravagances at home. That said, get to the north shore and have some breakfast here: http://www.tomahawkrestaurant.com/ - it's just over the bridge, through the lovely (yet recently wind ravaged) Stanley Park, and gorge yourself on "Yukon Style Bacon"

bon appetit, mon amis, et bon voyage. Just don't speak french there... they'll think you're from "back east"... eesh.

I only speak French while in Queeeeebec.

Thanks for the tip.
We’re also hitting Victoria and Whistler. If you’ve got any recommendations for those parts, post ‘em and I’ll try to log on for a look-see.

Later.

You may be right, I can only speak it purty good, not write it.

That's for the subtitle folks to deal with.

Gotta run.
Hope the plane don't crash.

P.S.
I forgot, in case it hasn’t been posted somewhere on this forum, for those folks lucky enough to be attending Comic-Con down in S.D. later this month, some clips of Avatar should be forthcoming from James C. and other producer/directors, i.e. Peter J. and Neill B. (for... http://d-9.com/) should be there too in attendance for Q&A.

In the meantime, while I’m absent, please report any non-human activity on this thread to 866–666– 6001. If I can’t pick up, just leave a message on the machine.

Hi Guys. Penton asked me to check his pm box today in his absence for any emergency situations that arose. I see Penton is receiving many personal messages asking him for complimentary passes to Comic-Con in San Diego because they have been sold out for quite awhile. He has none to offer. I do know that the organizers are selling passes at very near the original price on ebay and that would be your best bet both due to the reasonable price and to avoid being scammed. The seller posts the passes for selective days or the entire event (whatever he has available) at 7:00 P.M. sharp Pacific Time and they are grabbed up in a matter of minutes if not seconds. They are posted in Event Tickets on ebay, with this url being a more refined search - http://tickets.shop.ebay.com/items/?...&_osacat=16122 and the seller’s ebay i.d. is sdcomic-con.
You can check the Completed Listings for “Comic-Con membership” to give you an idea of how quickly they go once listed.

oh, Penton said to tell doctoroosi that he thought Rossi was almost going to catch Pedrosa at the end of the last lap---whatever that means.

Penton, I hope you're enjoying your trip. I really hope that you (and others) take time to go over this:

http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2009..._brainiac.html

It's a pretty great post, he's always been an underappreciated writer by some (only knowing him for his "thumbs", as it were), but it's such a great, concise response to the type of drivel that normally goes on online.

It does, as well, make me want to see Transformers 2 all the more (I -hated- the first one, frankly wanted it to be "dumber"... sounds like this one takes the cake! )

Oh, and he links to this (NSFW, for those that don't like suggestive action figure violence or sexual situations... Oh, thos Robot Chicken guys....)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRS90...layer_embedded

MaBa Sploom, indeed....
