Speaking of beautiful women this week I got two movies with the ever so radiant Sophia Loren: El Cid and Fall of the Roman Empire.
Unfortunately she has a strange complexion in both of these Blu-Ray incarnations and seem to have been photographed with lenses covered in vaseline, the same goes for the rest of the movie (I am paraphrasing RAH here).

These should get in the hands of a studio that actually does some asset preservation and ideally gives us a Blu-Ray and maybe even a new print or two of these movies. With People like Mr. Crisp, Mr. Belston or Mr. Feltenstein in charge it would finally be possible to do justice to them, apparently the current owners seem to have no intentions to do so

Until then I am looking forward to Lawrence, Ben Hur and Cleopatra from studios that care about their assets

All I know is that CTV (Canada, eh?) moved it to Fridays and just watch out in case the network in the U.S. does the same, in case your DVR is not set to record the series.

Currently it's still on ABC Sunday at 10pm, I think I am the only person on the planet who like this show

I'm trying to like it. I've only seen 2/2.5 episodes, and it's a bit perplexing. I love the subject matter though.

I really enjoy the show.

How can anybody not like a show with hot blondes floating naked in space? (Unfortunately she has been fully closed in all the other episodes and hasn't done much floating either)

Then that means that if I place The Girl Next Door at the top of my Netflix queue, I should pretty much probably get it, right?

You know, I checked that and ESPN2 only had the Chelsea game offered.

So, my DVR is recording the SD broadcast on Fox, as we speak……..I think……..I hope, as I just returned from a morning ride and haven't checked. So, no speak-ee of the outcome or even the pace of the match until I watch-ee.

Hey, I thought you were from the Blu Ridge Mtns. ………Virginia, etc.
