Do not request titles in insider threads.

They're scanning the whole forum, not just Penton-land

Update on the hint regarding the film *classic* to undergo a complete digital restoration.
To those that figured out the original big hint that I submitted a few pages ago, it seems that as I scan the sky, I believe I shall settle alternatively on the northern lights for the best image possible.

I kinda always considered an auroral display to be much more visually pleasing and mystical than a large ape running around the woods anyway.

That just totally gave it away. I can't imagine more people haven't been clamoring for a remastered version of Harry and the Hendersons. Way to go Penton.

Ah, now I get it.
I was right about the clue (Enjoy your crow), but wrong about the movie.

Slap my face and call me Corky, but I don't get what the answer is to the clue? Sorry that I don't. Call me newb all you want other readers, but I'm not good at the blu's clues thing. I'm new to posting, but have been reading the threads on this site for a year now. What movie is Penton talking about? Thanks for any non-smart ass replies.

By the way Penton, thanks for all that you do. The blu-community is lucky to have you.

Hey, don’t feel badly.
You’re being honest.
That counts for a lot.

It aint easy to figure out.
In fact, it’s intentionally difficult as I believe the journey to the answer should be as worthy as the prize will be.

As I said before…………………….

I just keep picturing "Superman: The Movie" in my head after reading the above... but I believe you said somebody already guessed it... and I don't believe anybody guessed "Superman: The Movie" so... I'm still stumped as well...

Are we talking the John Hanson/Rob Nilsson "Northern Lights" movie?!? I wouldn't think you'd be that forthright though...

.
Ok, so it's going to be scanned on a Northlight scanner.

Also it is an absolutely amazing movie one of Lean's best, so everybody go out and buy it!
I bought it, watched it yesterday, and it is stunning. I liked the movie far better on Blu than I remember when it debuted in the theater.

I did, and I agree. I could only find it on Amazon. Retail buyers
evidently didn't think it would make a splash on their shelves.
Still, at $19.95 on Amazon it was a steal.

However, E.M. Forster isn't everyone's cup of tea. Inspite of
the Oscar Nominations and being critically acclaimed "A Passage
To India" didn't fare that well at the box office either at $26 Million.

Maybe Sony should consider that other multi-million profit makers
allow them to subsidize less profitable endeavors that puts
the "art" into cinema.

Same here. Nowhere in sight at any retailer within driving distance: Best Buy, Target, 3 different Wal*Marts.

Maybe the advice should be "stay in and buy it"?

I had it in my hand at Frys, but ever since they raised the prices of all the blu-rays by $3, i havent bought a single BD from there. Frys trying to screw their loyal customers totally turned off my impulse BD buying completely.

Correct.
But you also must be able to decipher what I am alluding to here in the last sentence…..
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...postcount=2570

to connect all the dots for the answer to the film under consideration.
