Unless he is truly retired, he's going to be doing what he can to keep himself in good standing with the download folk.

I doubt he'd be offered many opportunities with Blu-ray.

About 15 min. or so to kick-off for what many professional soccer players consider to be more prestigious than the World Cup Final (or so I’ve been told) as club players are far more beautiful to watch playing together on a team they’ve been with for the entire season --rather than on a national team that they never really develop the same timing and intuition for. D150 was designed to be exhibited flat or curved, and since it was designed more to overwhelm your field of vision, that's not something that's that possible at home

I have no problem in openly acknowledging good stuff on other forums, as I have no fear of losing our membership.
It’s always a pleasure to read mhafner’s *answer* posts because they are full of accurate knowledge and unbiased.
It’s his *question* posts that sometimes get me nervous as he always wants me to spill the beans and sometimes I put myself in jeopardy by taking the bait.

That forum has a handful of very knowledgeable posters (michel, Mr.D, trbarry, tbrunet,etc.) but unfortunately it seems that many times instead of appreciating their presence and insight, some people there are too busy becoming argumentative for egotistical reasons.

I see one guy even posted a link to John Galt’s presentation at Panavision’s HQ……

Very astute, as John probably knows more about the technical aspects of motion picture cameras than anybody else that posts on the internet……that I can think of. With a quick perusal, it looks like some good stuff scattered on that thread with the exception of our friend who left the *egg target* company “to pursue other interests” (I’m quoting MS) because it looks like he’s just getting some more digs in at the MPEG-2 codec.
