Offer only applicable to those residing in Les États-Unis but, you will not be required to know any French to answer the question………just have cajones.
Hmmm...I like La Femme Nikita, I don't know any French, I live in Les États-Unis (but I don't know that because I don't know any French ) and I have cajones! I'm in for the contest!

Since it has been discussed in this thread, if Blu-ray could be supported by studios by releasing the Blu-ray earlier than the DVD, I want to draw everybodys attention to the news on the homepage, that Snow White on blu will be released 7 weeks before the DVD! I know that there have been other Disney movies with a few days difference, where the retailers have ignored this, but 7 weeks will make a difference, I believe. I am already curious for the blu-ray numbers in october.

Edited: Just only saw that Penton already linked to the news.

Great news and just another feather in Disney's cap. They were the first to offer DVD copies with their Blu-ray's, and now and exclusive window as well.

Only two interested so far?
I don't know if that is worthy of a contest.

Maybe it's early and all you slackers took off work on Friday to go out and play........like moi.

I'd go for it if I didn't already have a copy.
And of course that since I'm outside of the US I"m disqualified.

Thank you for the very kind offer, Penton, but I gave that movie a shot once and only made it about 5 minutes in.

"Patience my blu friend."

You should give it a second chance. The beginning sets up the main characters transformation. You didn't even get to see Mr. Depardieu.

That's exactly the problem. When you don't buy the character from the start, it's difficult to become invested in any transformation. It just felt like very pedestrian, under-thought writing to me, which is the same problem I had with Le Cinquieme Element. I do like Leon a lot, though.

I'm sure I'll give it another try at some point down the road, but for a copy of the BD, I don't want to get in the way of a fan.

Hey, kpkelly, I just noticed your location. How do you like that HPS-4000 at the Shoppers' World?

I believe there is only one theatre that has this set-up, a renovated MOM theatre. It's by far the largest screen at the complex, dwarfed by the IMAX at Jordan's less than a mile away. It's certainly better than any of the other cinemas in the area, but it can be tough to hear the great sound when you have dozens of teenagers talking on their cellphones during the movie.

Do you know if they expanded it beyond the one screen?

I don't know for sure, but to the degree that I'm educated about that specific theatre, I don't think so and to the degree that I'm educated about the matter in general, I doubt it.

Lol, a couple of years ago I would have definitely agreed with you.
But this year they've pulled all the automated junk out of the cars and it's down to the drivers again. Evidenced by the near stalls at the start in Australia. Drivers are learning how to drive again.

I'd give it another chance as it's a great film. At about 20 minutes in it really starts rolling.
Do you know "Point of No Return"? It was a remake of this film.
IMPO I thought "La Femme Nakita" was the better of the two.
