I’m strongly considering buying Blu-ray.com, ergo, Iceman makes allowances for the contributions of all the participants on this thread.

Just listen to the music you prefer if you are un-accepting of the total concert….
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMb45oX9jJ8 < that should bring a tear to the eye of PeterTHX.

But you see this banter about 70mm screenings does tie into blu-ray.

Now some of us will have a reference point when we look at our blu-rays.

Spartacus - How the disc does not look like the 70mm rest print.

And when Lawrence comes out, how closely it does.

Yes Penton, I understand that it may still look different being that your working with a different print, and of course how the screening venue will introduce variance.

But still, to see 70mm projected... well, it's experience I've been coveting for sometime.

They cut off the video, because of the resulting carnage when the audience rushed the stage and tore the orchestra limb from limb. They never did find the conductor's head...

I prefer this concert (and it's actually movie related!):

On a side note - who owns Blu-ray.com? I suspect Sony and maybe some of the other hardware manufacturers since this site has no advertising.

...finally, for those NOT following Ebert on the twitter, he's take to posting photos and asking users to caption them.

Post from 2 days ago (NSFW) was pretty damn priceless:

Bloggers- ”this above all: to thine own self be true” with Blu-ray reviews or lack thereof.
