Merrick, you crack me up.
Are you the lead singer, or on drums? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSQqCugnAhw

Tell me…by now, over the course of time, have you e-mailed/PM’ed Bill and Jeff to chit-chat on the down-low more often than you did in thee old days during the format war with my now good friend , Dave Vaughn? What’s the tally so far?

Sometimes I think you‘re more of an Insider *fan* than a Blu-ray fan.

P.S. You guys can see I’m in a YouTube kinda mood today....with two in a row, back-to-back.

My talk with them is more or less limited to my forum talk.

All of this negativity about films based SOLELY on screenshot science has gotten on my nerves.

As for being a "bluray" fan or an "insider" fan. I can't make an argument to the contrary so I m not gonna bother

Then you should jump on this. Almost 4 hours of the BALLSIEST riders in HD Glory. Really good PQ and the bikes are miked. 17,000 RPM in DTS HD MA The commentators are good.

Cinematography by the gifted ……http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harris_Savides

Like Dante S., who, as RAH so aptly associated with the cinematographic art of “painting with light” in the link to his HTF review above, is another cinematographer which has done so with style and some of whose work I think more than a few videophiles would also misunderstand and duly unappreciate.

I can just predict a good portion of the audio/video authoritatively implied *opinions* now…’The blacks are not inky! This is a flawed Blu-ray transfer!’

Thanks for the heads-up.
I’ll be sure to also pass it on to ‘paidgeek’, who attended the Laguna Seca round this year.

Until then, consider me kinda like Johnny ……http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFSQ6...eature=related , except, Ice….this time I’ll wait for you on my bike at the bottom of the ski slope!

Also, please include a generous tip (in cash), as I count 8 (eight, mind you ) paragraphs of writing in this single introductory post on that thread -

https://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mo...ml#post3854397

Not to mention for the next post I contributed to that particular thread, the time it took me to wade thru all those ND filter YouTubes to find an appropriately pictorial one to make the point.

b.t.w., while the rest of us poor blokes were hard at work, in case you went on some vacation somewhere and have some left-over foreign currency in your bedside table drawers or what not, I want ‘merican dollars, not pesos, Euros, etc. as I get killed on the conversion rate.

I don't think there will be anything left after the heavy fines for all the gawdawful soccer talk (with vuvuzelas to boot)!

Best thing is to hope Ice calls it even.

Dammit, Janet, I was already so screwed with the number of titles I've got to buy in the next few months, but the Rocky Horror review here just made me want, nay, NEED to double dip.

OK, it's official, this format is mature enough that I'll simply never be able to own everything I'll want to buy. Kudos, you wretched thing, kudos.

that is one movie I will most likely never buy again. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of the RHPS, but it is a movie that needs a theatrical presentation. It can't be enjoyed by yourself or a few people in an HT (plus it gets messy)
