I hear ya. I actually like the score (well, most of it), so I'll buy it for that alone.

The fact that you can "virtually" throw Toast also amuses me mildly.

Another Link on their site for Blu-ray coming soon

http://www.circuit-empire.com/dvdGallery.asp?galid=4

No, I didn’t, but rather than just being out of frame, I’m hoping for an unorthodox explanation to his lack of presence…. Like, for instance, Larissa made a guest appearance in the stands and he went over to ask her for a date… https://forum.blu-ray.com/insider-di...ml#post3430213

And/or, he went *to see a man about a horse*.

Best thing is to hope Ice calls it even.

As I know you’ve been eagerly looking forward with baited breath to this collegiate competition all year long, HURRY and purchase your tickets as I hear they’re selling out quickly…http://ucsbgauchos.cstv.com/sports/m...083110aae.html

We realize you’re a big fan of low-scoring or even scoreless draws which then proceed into overtime and I think that collegiate soccer may have even more of those defensive gems than do thee American pro matches.

P.S.
Peter, maybe this will also help you out…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPVlA...eature=related < Survey says it sounds as good in Dolby as it does in DTS....well, almost.

I think that futurists will really be onto something if they can concentrate their efforts on the above clip of your preferred musical instrument rather than this anatomical scientific nonsense stuff…http://www.newscientist.com/article/...l-objects-appe

Squid, you’re a pretty good connoisseur of all things motorcycle related. If you’re also a fan of House, did you (or anyone) catch Monday night’s episode and recognize the type of jacket he was wearing when he hopped on his motor-sickle outside of his girlfriend’s place?

Hi Scorxpion,

I don’t know but, I can look into the situation and see what I can find out for you. I’m pretty much tied up all this week with the SMPTE Annual Technical Conference.

I'm playing in a big poker tournament on December 11 with a huge prize pool or else I'd love to see the matches. Furthermore, the drive to Santa Barbara from Norcal while beautiful is tortuously slow due to the plethora of two lane highways and the State's #1 source of revenue these days--the California Highway Patrol! A buddy of mine just got a ticket on 101 for doing 75 MPH. I prefer Highway 5 where you are getting passed by grandmothers if you are doing less than 80!

Hey Penton-man, I got a question.

You think if Brad Pitt signs up to do Red Dead Redemption that it might get a serious director and some half way decent(or better) writers?

I think, if done right this has the potential to be a very good movie.

OK Penton Thanks for your cooperation. As you can see now in the link provided in my previous post they are only handling Fox titles and it seems not Sony anymore.there is something going around and i'm sure your investigation will lead to some results.

Thanks,

Jihad Nader.

Not going pro, but making some nice cash on the side. If I can just avoid the bad beats...

Hey Penton!
It's me, your favorite Habs fan. Long time no see.

I know this is kind of older news but I was hoping you could chip in with some thoughts or facts.

Snyder directing Superman.

NYmag ran a story saying the choice was more about logistics than wanting to make a great film.
"We're told by knowledgeable insiders the reason Warner Bros. picked Snyder for Man of Steel is that the script by David Goyer was rushed, is still a bit of a mess, and that Warner Bros. needs someone who won't spend months or even years trying to get it just right (i.e., Aronofsky), because time is the one thing they don't have"

http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment...aronofsky.html

I was surprised when I heard the news. I really was expecting WB to try to repeat what they did with Batman and hire someone who had done his own lower budget films and who had proven his talent and originality making great story-driven films. Someone who clearly has a voice and certain story preoccupations.

They did the exact opposite. They hired someone who's an immense visual talent and already on Hollywood's A-List. Someone who also never really worked with a low budget, story driven film and doesn't have any roots there.

Anything to say that would make us feel he's the right choice?

ps. nothing against the guy. I'm told he's a great great fellow and I know he has all the best intentions with these films.

ps2. Could Nolan godfathering the project want to avoid potential creative differences in hiring a director who'd want to be heavily involved in crafting the story. More control for Nolan?

Nolan has said in various interviews that they have a great script for the new Superman film, and I don't see why he would lie given his reputation.

He said they have a great idea and new take that he loves. A lot can happen from that to a script, and a lot can happen from a script to a final movie.

A director is the ultimate architect of a movie. A great script is only the start.

Not sure if anyone has been following the latest entertainment on the 'other' forum as the firestorms regarding Back to the Future and Apocalypse Now have really been getting big. On any rate, "Milt99" posted this over there which sums it up.

Sadly, I didn't find much better talk going on in other sections here either. Whatevs... I tire of the same conversation over and over, and went there to inform people about the joys of the Canadian release (being fixed asap, but still kinda amusing)

Meanwhile, had an awful time tonight reviewing a film that everyone has (or should have) seen. Not sure it says anything interesting, but here you go:

I think he forgot the last part, where, after finally getting the release we wanted, we now only need "insert a variety of titles here" and then we'd be happy. I know it, because I participate in it myself.
