Feeling rather frisky today, eh?

For another fellow soccer aficionado, this be directed to PeterTHX, a *true lover of the beautiful game* …..
“Among other business set to be discussed are laws governing the colour of players’ tights and procedures for how to deal with stray dogs, spare balls and other foreign objects that somehow end up on the field of play”…. http://www.worldfootballinsider.com/Story.aspx?id=34134

Peter, if there weren’t goals in soccer, we wouldn’t need video technology now, would we?

Guys, here I am trying to be serious about the hardwood flooring upgrade! There really is such wood available for people that desire something special rather than regular old oak which everyone (who already has hardwood flooring) seems to have.

Jim, you and Denon must catch ‘Hall Pass’ as I think you’ll like it….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2A5zZakDJno

There are goals in soccer? Every time I've stumbled across a game it's just a bunch of guys kicking a ball aimlessly back and forth for hours with a score of 0-0.

I don’t know what that means and I’m afraid to ask.

Nevertheless, I see you’re a PSN man (by your sig) so that reminds me, to those who think/claim all nerds and geeks are eunuchs (or else suffer from some sort of testosterone deficiency)… yesterday’s postings, as well as this offering, I think, disproves that unfair perception –

Please not yet. I haven’t watched the match. I’m hopeful , but always a bit worried when the Arsenal plays the best club team in the world.

Penton, A few years ago you facilitated an issue with getting a firmware update for some Sony BD players for some 007 BD titles that had problems. Do you still have those same channels of communication? Because there seem to be a few issues with a couple of recent firmware updates for a common player. I can provide succinct details to you via PM if that would help.

Sharkshark, I’m adding this post (https://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-mo...ml#post4406517) to the forum
as compensation to Canadians for some entity declaring Toronto to be a U.S. city -

As I know you folks take that sort of stuff seriously.

^ b.t.w., to those true ‘Jeopardy’ fans out there (or Wheel of Fortune, for that matter) who sometime may like to attend a taping of the show in the L.A. area while on vacation or what not….call the 800 number at the bottom of this page….http://www.sonypicturesstudiostours.com/

As an aside, testing of 3D captures of both shows have been performed and I think that as a previous technological milestone, Jeopardy and Wheel were actually the first syndicated shows to go fully HD back in the day.

"TORONTO????"

Got a friend who works at IBM, been getting some nerdy inside stories from the trenches of Watson.

Meanwhile, off to hopefully see one of these:

Hey Penton. I saw The Green Hornet last week. I really enjoyed it, and I thought the 3D was pretty good even though it was a converted film.

Also, getting really excited for "The Amazing Spider-Man"!

I have one thing to say as to the *excuse* for culpability in the matter offered by the spokesperson in this news bit (https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=5907), given the length of the exclusivity deal for AVATAR -

Oh my…OOOOOOH MY!
I just watched the entire match (taped) and I must say that the outcome was a true pleasure to behold. For once, Arsenal played like they were not intimidated at all by the best club team in the world.

I am soooo happy.
