I'll give it a shot.

I *think* what he's saying is there a stipulation causing a deadlock in the Warner deal which they are trying to work out. Some are a bit skeptical about this stipulation, but none the less, it's holding up the deal.

Could "back" refer to back catalog, such as the Warner films that have been released on HD DVD and not Blu-ray? And Warner's contract with Toshiba required them to keep some films HD DVD exclusive?

I want to put my 2 cents in this the reason PM put "back" who would BD like to see come back. Now moral clause if this company would come back it would be like cheating morally wrong to the contract
One more thing how could this company have morals if it got bought out the first time

Well I would say throw some money at it. But since this is a private transaction they have a word for that. Guess you need to get some corprations involved so it would be legal.

Isn’t that sort of like a high school kid dressing up in an Indianapolis Colts uniform and running onto the field with the other players at the beginning of the game as if he is a member of this pro football team and yelling advice from the sidelines (yet never actually playing in the game) making spectators in the stands think he is a member of the Indianapolis Colts, by his actions and appearance at that venue?

Hell he’s lucky they have internet service and phone lines between PR people in LA County and distant Cali locations like Vacaville.

And AVS "made" him an Insider because they have no major Hollywood studio insiders in attendance there, so a pseudo studio insider is better than nothing, I guess.

Isn’t it quite humorous that no HD DVD fanboys in the past have ever accused D.V. of having a pro Blu-ray bias?
