Amir proves only that you can reveal your real name, and employment and still be a sack of sh!t who seeks to mislead through fractional truths and the occasional outright lie.
Reality will eventually show who has credibility and who has not. |

where's that amir thread?

Nice to know that Microsoft didn't reprimand him even when he was claiming that 50GB BD would never see the light of day... just days before the first commercial production 50GB disc went for sale. ![]() |

clearly he is worried. he is simply trying to keep the calm in the hd dvd forums, because what has been said here by our insiders puts hd dvd near death. we know they troll and have read what our insiders have said regarding the current situations. and we know they are worried about what they have read, he is simply trying to discredit our guys, so that they don't believe what is happening.

However, it would seem that company policy is at least to turn a blind eye to this kind of behaviour. |

Someone was asking for info on shoot em up
The disk is > 45G I don't know the structure of BD disks but 1 file, 00007.m2ts is 19.8G another 00019.m2ts is 14.1G I don't know if these two together are all of the main feature. The main feature may be the 19.8G file for all I know. I hope that helps |

Amir embodies everything that I can not stand about microsoft and the average 360 fanboy.
The fact that people feel the need to post his crap in this thread and this forum boggles my mind. If our insiders are smart enough to ignore him and not to feed him, why do the people that post here feel the need. |

Someone should dig up the AVS post by Bott/Gouger wherein they stated that one of the reasons for the revised rules was to mitigate a state of fervor far beyond rationality and in which personal threats were made, resulting in police involvement. This, alone, should be ample reason for prudent insiders to remain anonymous.

For any FOX insiders.......
I'm a new Blu-Ray owner, and I know this has probably been asked a million times, but if Fox wanted to boost Blu sales, wouldn't they want to release the Star Wars series ASAP? What would hold them back? |

Not an insider, but George Lucas would hold them back.

The decision to release anything Star Wars lies with George Lucas, not Fox.

Hey Insiders: Have any BD-9s been released into the wild, so to speak? IIRC, that particular BD variant was blessed at the request of WB, and I always thought it would be the perfect, low-cost alternative to BD-25 for extras discs, even if they used 480p content (in AVC or VC-1.)
If so, is there any software out there that can actually author a BD-9? Isn't it physically the same as a DVD but logically structured as a BD? -John |
