Reencoded the MPEG-2 video in high bit rate AVC and the encoder I use does add just a tiny bit of sharpness so that helps.

Seeing that pic reminded me that that was one of my very first covers and it really needed a re-do. The back is a DVD conversion, but I'll update that if it ever gets a studio Blu-ray release.

Since this is not technically a copy of a Blu-ray, I'll go ahead and post the label I made for the burned disc...

Request Please I can't seem to make a Fast & Furious Collection that I like. Maybe Sukie or Lomadu if either of you have time. It would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
The Doctor

I also made up a couple of character versions for those of you who prefer character art to the concept pieces I generally lean toward.

All four versions are now available on euphoricfx.

And for those who also collect the sequels...

I just wanted to say you have a fantastic eye for the Art you use.

Made some more progress on the "Battlestar Galactica: Razor" covers I've been working on today. Preview pics have been updated which can be seen here. Decided to update the emblem used on the back portion of each cover per having it call out "Battlestar Pegasus - BSG G2" rather than "Battlestar Galactica - BSG 75". Found an awesome vector graphic online for "BSG G2". Wanting to match the look of the "BSG 75" emblem as much as possible which I'm using for the other covers in the set I decided to combine the two. Still need to work on the lighting, but aside from that I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. End result shown below.

1. "BSG 75" emblem I was using.

2. "BSG G2" vector graphic I found online here.

3. Combination of the two per matching the look of the "BSG 75" emblem which I'm using for the rest of the covers in the set.

Finished up a couple more covers today. First up is an "Americanized" version of Arrow Video's UK release of Knightriders. There is some very nice art out there featuring that sexy Honda CBX and even though Arrow does have a reversable cover with this art, it isn't "just the poster". Made a new front and spine and sized for 11/12mm standard case.

The second cover I made is for the Explosive Video release from Germany of the 1972 crime thriller, Prime Cut with Lee Marvin and Gene Hackman. Despite the heavy hitters in the cast, this is rather more obscure film, but the type of film I'm a sucker for. Also a US style cover for 11/12mm cases.

Both will be available at EuphoricFX.org.

I think I like the second Frozen best. I like how you haven't put numbers on the covers. I hated seeing gaps in the collection when there was no number. I think I would have put them in alphabetical order rather than release order.

Default Die Hard Collection custom Blu-ray covers by Nissen

Here is a recently commissioned set of separate Blu-ray covers for the Die Hard collection.

With a set like this the main challenge is to unify the artwork, where two decades separate the style of the theatrical posters. For that reason I went with the colourful international version of Die Hard 1 instead of the monochromatic U.S. poster. At the client's request the title treatments were homogenized to bring the very cohesion he and I were after. Actually, the hardest part of this particular job was finding a favourable critic's quote for the fifth film. In the end I cheated and cut of Richard Roeper in mid-sentence to slant it. I should have been in advertising!!

The client also asked that all specifics regarding extras and specs be omitted to make the covers compatible with all past and future releases.
It becomes a bit sticky with the "unrated" Live Free or Die Hard, as that cover mentions the PG-13 rating specifically. Also, the fifth cover mentions both the theatrical and extended version ratings, but only the theatrical runtime is listed. I'm usually a stickler for these things but I've reached Die Hard Burnout :-)

The client has asked me to share the set with all interested parties, so feel free to PM me for download links.

What is the best paper to print these custom covers on? I'd like for it to be just like the real paper that comes with the BD.

This question is asked an answered frequently in this thread. I will give you my answer, but you may want to simply browse/search this thread for other opinions.

I like to use glossy brochure paper. The 48 lb HP (model CG932A) works best for me:

Those look great! The matching title treatments work much better than I thought they would. I love how you had to create a positive critic quote for the 5th. It's just that bad.

Question, why do you have the number 1 under collection?

I also think you can either use a different lighter color for you transformers on the spine. I can't tell that it says Transformers.....

Quick question, trying to do my first custom print job. Want to do it for the Omen collection ones that were kindly put here:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...1&postcount=22

Artist says they are for 12mm spines, if I'm not mistaken, but having trouble finding 12mm 4 disc cases. Any ideas?

Most 4 disc case's are 15mm or at least Viva Elite is.
