Ah thats good I seen an unboxing of the sets erilier and they seemed to be slim

I like the slim ones but we rarely get them here let alone for multi disc releases.

There's nothing wrong with Jar Jar, he's exactly the character Lucas wanted to create... and he's very likable, in an oddball kind of way.
The reason I posted this (and I am acutely aware of the hatred of 'modifications') while watching the Phantom Menace, I thought Jar-Jar really was awful. Completely unprompted my nine year old said, "Dad, Jar-Jar really sucks. Barney would be less obnoxious." My seven year old said, "Yeah, why is he even in the movie. It makes it too kiddie." Sure, some people like him. I do not.

Unable to do multichannel LPCM, but the lossy track does fine with the optical out on the BDP. It may well be a receiver problem. Will contact Denon and see wat they say. Glad to know that some of the films rarely have dropouts, but when they happen, it can kinda take you out of the scene...

The person conviently left out the part with Leia saying, "Just images really....feelings."

When I was watching all six movies, the angle icon appears during the very beginning while the yellow words movie across the screen. Then it disappears again afterwards and doesn't appear again. When I press the angle button on my remote, there is just the one angle. My player is a Pioneer Elite BDP-33FD. I was just wondering if this happened for anyone else, and if anyone could explain why. Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I never noticed that before. I do like the newer look better, especially the color around his eyes. He has a little more of the color of the Emperor.

Also, that's one hell of a harmonica!

Wow! That is quite a difference. You can at least make out some of C3P0s gold color and R2D2s blue a bit in the DVD version. The Blu ray is just an ugly magenta mess.

Indeed. The changes to the eye colour are very subbtle, but noticable if you really try and pick it out.

The eybrows had to go because it didn't make sense having eyebrows left after being completely burnd from head to toe (well... you know what I mean )

They still don't quite match, unless Hayden wore contacts for the movie.

Edit: On second thought, I guess they kinda do.

I just finished the whole saga a few hours ago, and now I'm checking out the spoofs on disc 9. I've heard a lot of people complaining that this was included, but I'm freakin' loving it!

People keep mentioning this, but I've lost count of how many times I've seen "Jedi", and I've never seen this. Then again, I don't go looking for it, either.

That's a bit of an oxymoron, coming from a kid.

Seems to be an isolated issue with your player...very distracting.

Absolutely no drop out problems with my THX select p.o.s. As I said, I'm amazed the old amp plays the dts 6.1 discrete from the SW discs, but it's doing fine.
