Just click on the number of posts in the gray under "Replies". Right now the Star Wars thread has 42,672 posts. Click on that number.

Would he be still as excited for every single time he's going to view the blu's?

Only 169 posts for this thread, I'm disappointed in myself

I hope one day to watch Star Wars with my kids - but it will be the OT, and I don't plan to mention the PT at all. It was much more fun watching Vader as a real bad-ass. Not a candy-ass.
I kinda see the Star Wars Saga echoing Roger Clemens career....3 good guy movies (Red Sox years) and 3 bad guy movies (Yankees years)

Good Anikan was every bit the bad-ass as Darth Vader was a bad-ass

What about the Blue Jay's and Astro's years? Is that the trilogy Lucas never delivered on?

Clemens may be coming back to the Astros - so that may be your episode 7 right there...

I'm sure there were still a couple of garbage mattes in Star Wars, though it has been a year since I've watched it.

This set is way overdue for a price drop.

Here's hoping for a Pixar adventure and not live action.

Ah no way. The saga is well over and completed.
The whole charm of the two trilogies is the story chronicling Anakin Skywalker.

As long as George Lucas isn't writing or directing, Episode VII is not part of the canon to me.
Besides, the actors are so much older now. I don't see how is Disney going to pull all these actors back

PS. Don't get me wrong. I'm not an anti-EU Star Wars. I enjoy watching The Clone Wars TV Series. But I won't shit my pants yet just because an Episode VII is "being planned".

Default Star Wars Episode VII" Coming In 2015

It's the news "Star Wars" fans have been dying to hear!

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is coming out in 2015, it was announced Thursday.

The Walt Disney Co. is buying "Star Wars" creator George Lucas' Lucasfilm Ltd in a stock and cash deal worth $4.05 billion.

Lucasfilm co-chair Kathleen Kennedy will become its president. She will report to Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn. Lucas will serve as the creative consultant on new "Star Wars" films. Lucas said in a statement, "It's now time for me to pass `Star Wars' on to a new generation of filmmakers."

Lucas' comments are a departure from an interview he gave earlier this year to The New York Times. "Why would I make any more," he said of the "Star Wars" franchise, "when everybody yells at you all the time and says what a terrible person you are?"

No word on the plot for the new film, which follows "Return of the Jedi." Rumors are it will focus on the children of Han Solo and Leia Organa, who will face a new alien threat.

Most of the Marvel films were good so I'm excited to see what Star Wars stuff they come with. I hope this BF the collection goes on sale, I still want it.

That's revisionist BS and you know it. Star Wars (before the dark times, before the SEs/PT) was always about the journey of Luke Skywalker. The official Lucasfilm documentaries from the OT era (especially "From Star Wars to Jedi", which apparantly fell into the Lucasfilm Memory Hole and was excluded from the so-called "Saga" box set) made it perfectly clear. Hell, the entire concept of Darth Vader being Luke's father wasn't even contemplated until pre-production for TESB...

Disney will definitely be the right place to help market the franchise to kids. I'll be interested to see what they can do with it. I can't complain about new Star Wars. I do wonder if it will have any relation to what Lucas once talked about (although I have no idea how far he actually got with the idea)
