Trouble is it might then affect other parts of the greyscale which you won't know about until you watch other content, so again a proper metered calibration might be the only solution. Don't adjust the Tint/Hue control whatever you do though, that's a rather old fashioned control to have and it's pretty useless in today's HD world.
Might have to bite that bullet, because after screwing around with the green RGB settings, I just saw a faint red push in the blacks. LOL...

As to phones, I’m kinda interested in what this guy named Jim (as recollected below by Mike Bell in earlier days)

and now heads up RED will be showing May 19th at Red Studios Hollywood…..https://www.cnet.com/news/the-hologr...-and-improved/

and, as a scuba diver and concerned environmentalist, I hope to someday hear more from him or Misha on their efforts related to the Vatuvara Foundation - https://www.vatuvara.org/

As to cameras, not well heeled enough to afford this 100MP BSI sensor camera without flinching, but I’ll say a couple of us are waiting for this sensor tech to dribble down to a more affordable price point…..https://www.dpreview.com/news/327494...-format-sensor

Following that, special showings occurred at Dolby’s private theater….https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...e#post11569063 -

Anyway, heads-up locals, don’t dilly-dally, for special invite to the Dolby Cinema at the Vine Hollywood for another motion picture, including a Q&A with Jeff Cronenweth, ASC….http://www.bandpro.com/blog/cat/news...bladerunner4k/

^ Also note that Band Pro will also screen their new 4K HDR short film Tokyo Dance prior to the feature; shot on the Sony VENICE.

geoff, one of the guys informed me there’s a new swank theater (as in stylish/posh, not necessarily Dolby Vision) opening up on Church Road I think in CP neck of the woods? later this year.

on our next group ride I’ll ask for a link.

Crystal Palace the area (where the new cinema has been proposed) isn't the same place as where Crystal Palace the football club are situated, much to the chagrin of travelling fans who alight at CP train station (when Norwood Junction or Selhurst would be much better bets).

CP the area is up the road from where I used to live in London and IT'S JUST ****ING TYPICAL that some swanky new cinema is gonna be opening up after I'm gone, when before all we had anywhere nearby was the crappy Odeon in Beckenham and years before that the ABC in Catford (which closed down many years ago). Grrrrrrrr!!!
