Yes, hopefully a smaller part that will play to his strengths. I've only seen Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, where his character went from kinda sad to kinda mad, neither very convincingly.

No idea what you're talking about exactly. I'm pretty damn sure that's how he's going to look in the actual film.

On another note, I don't think the colors of his costume will be muted down like Superman's in Man of Steel and BatmanvSuperman.

Lighting. Photographers don't know how the film is being lit and how the costume is designed to be seen after being manipulated with light a certain way.

Probably referring to the Apocalypse costumes looking way more comic book-y on the magazine cover than they ended up looking in the actual trailer.

This is a Marvel Studios film though, not a FoX-men one. Also, in reality the movie version looks a lot better now that it looks more like his armor from the comics. I'm glad they didn't go with how it looks on the EW cover.

I mean the texture more than anything. Nothing in that costume looks like its from the real world, it all looks very clearly manufactured for a costume.

This isn't a knock on the costume or Dr. Strange, I'm excited for this movie and I have absolute confidence that he's going to look amazing in the film.

But like said above, photographers for these covers never know how to light and shoot these costumes so they look like they will in the film, which is unfortunate.

Looking forward to this one, as I like Marvel keeping it fresh 1x per year. 2016 should be great if Cap3 is as good as Cap 2 and they nail Doctor Strange.

Movie costumes look they way they do in the movies due to high-quality cinematography. That's also why actors and actresses tend to look better in movies then they do when they get caught "in the wild" by paparazzi photographers. Magazine photo spreads never have lighting as good as a qualified film DP will offer.
