Looks to be the same reasons why I didn't like the first half of Batman Begins, or Electra. I hate eastern mysticism/Kung fu training movies.

Yep, they're all for diversity when it comes to the fairer sex and black people, but Asians? Nah, they don't want any of that stuff. I am kidding, of course. I actually think they've been great with their casting so far in most of their projects. Just wish Terrence Howard had been retained as Rhodsey. He had great chemistry with RDJ.

I kind of agree, this trope is overused. Although it makes sense for Strange, I absolutely hated it in Batman Begins due to Bale's lousy acting and the hideous fake beard they glued onto him. Nolan at his pretentious worst with the origin flashbacks intercut with the Mongolia training and Liam Neeson phoning in his performance. Then the movie picked up, but this might do it right.

From what I have heard, she is but instead going to be the only one version. When they wrote her character for Daredevil, Marvel told them that they have plans for the character in a future film as well but not using Dawson.

Which if that is true and Dawson isn't going to be the only Night Nurse in the MCU, if McAdams is the film version Night Nurse, I'm totally down for that.

there were three nurses originally, so I don't see the problem with having more than one. Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple is actually a doctor, not a nurse, in the Luke Cage comics.

Michael Giacchino to score Marvel’s Doctor Strange

Composer Michael Giacchino has taken to Twitter to announce that he will be providing the score for Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange movie! This marks Giacchino’s first superhero film in quite some time, though he previously composed the music for The Incredibles and Sky High. Giacchino won the Academy Award for Best Original Score with 2009’s Up, and was nominated for 2007’s Ratatouille. His other works include Star Trek (2009), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Jurassic World, Inside Out, and almost every episode of Lost.

Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme along with Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) as Baron Mordo, Tilda Swinton (Only Lovers Left Alive) as The Ancient One and Benedict Wong as Doctor Strange’s humble servant, Wong, and, in undisclosed roles, Rachel McAdams (The Vow), Michael Stuhlbarg (Pawn Sacrifice), Scott Adkins (The Bourne Ultimatum), Amy Landecker (“Transparent”), and Mads Mikkelsen (“Hannibal”).

The film is directed by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Deliver Us From Evil) from a script by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, Passengers) and C. Robert Cargill (Sinister). Doctor Strange tells the story of Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch), an acclaimed neurosurgeon who uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions after a near-fatal car accident, showing audiences corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe never before explored.

Doctor Strange opens in theaters on Friday, November 4, 2016.
