Crap. Well, I guess I'll see it next Tuesday and save 18 bucks on a ticket.

Just watched it. I LOVE IT. Better than both Thor movies, Cap 1, IM 2 and 3. Its like Iron Man 1 for me.

My gf, Sis and cousins all agree its better than Ant-Man(last Marvel movie with a debuting hero), and they all got no idea who Dr. Strange is.

Very good movie. 8.5/10 for me!

The 3D Visuals are fan-****ing-awesome! Go watch this in IMAX 3D. If not, go watch it in Dolby Atmos. Or the best of both worlds (sort of), IMAX Laser!

Just FYI, Regal Crown Club has three Strange prints up now. No IMAX Poster yet though

Print images in spoiler tags

[Show spoiler]

1600 credits each. There is an $8.75 flat shipping fee for posters

I really hope they add an IMAX-sized poster.

lol!! Disney puts a giant kaleidoscope onscreen and everyone's impressed. Don't even try it dude. It's like arguing with little children that santa clause isn't real.

We're watching this in 3D this Sunday.
It feels like half a lifetime ago since I actually was REALLY excited to see a Marvel Studios film, but this one has me pumped.

Good idea, over half the film's in the opened up ratio (about an hour when the movie's just under two hours long) and it looks great.

Critics Consensus: Doctor Strange artfully balances its outré source material against the blockbuster constraints of the MCU, delivering a thoroughly entertaining superhero origin story in the bargain.

The way those RT consensuses are being written is getting more and more ridiculous.

Just watched it an I'll give it an 8/10. Mads Mikelsen wasn't bad at all in the villains role BUT it's not that compelling and still continues a bit of a trend where they don't seem to stand out that well. It's mainly Imo because he feels too samey to his minions.

Tilda Swinton did a serviceable job as The Ancient One and I think she had good moments. Benedict definitely did have a duality to him changing over the course of the film which I quite liked. Rachel McAdams presented I think the heart of the film.

Overall the supporting cast did really well and I thought it did well to continue the general trend of Marvel formula whilst introducing magic into the mix. I'd actually like to commend them on blending in Martial arts and Magic. It worked for me personally.

On first viewing, I think I'd comfortably give this an 8/10 but there's some niggles and it's why I wouldn't rate it higher. I can definitely see this movie in 4K and HDR being a total mind bending experience if mastered correctly.

I was worried about this one, but based on early reviews and Marvel's tried and true formula it looks it will be a lot of fun. Can't wait!
