100% these are better than the posters and marketing we got, but it seems like they were really trying to play it safe and hit a nice balance for audiences to get the largest appeal. I don't think these posters would have turned many people off, but I'm guessing that's why they didn't go as hard on the psychedelia and mysticism.

I don't think it has anything to do with racism.

Most of the Twitter/Tumblr crying was over the fact they cast a white person as The Ancient One.

It truly showed the colors of those cry babies who try to find outrage in everything because if Marvel would have kept it like the comics and had an Asian actor (or actress!) they would have screamed bloody murder because of stereotypes.

Marvel was in a lose/lose situation but made the right decision at least giving the role to a female and not another male.

Definitely wouldn't turn people off. It would of just given more ammunition for those complainers.

I don't agree at all, especially about the posters Darkstream posted. Those posters are so great because of their style.

But if you just mean pushing mysticism, then yes, I suppose that's possible.

I enjoyed the hell out of Doctor Strange but I don't place it anywhere near the Captain America trilogy. That's just the perfect CBM trilogy in every way.
