I’m still trying to find another source on that, or to clarify which part it would be, and whether or not Mikkelsen might have already passed or been passed over." Bear in mind that Marvel wanted Mikkelsen for the role of Malekith in Thor: The Dark World, but he was forced to drop out due to his commitments to Hannibal. That makes it likely then that Marvel still want to work with him, and a role like Baron Mordo seems even more likely than the Doctor himself. Which character do you think he's best suited to?

Mads Mikkelsen would definitely be an interesting choice for the role as Doctor Strange. But, If they end up choosing someone else for the role then i will be fine with that, because Mads Mikkelsen doesn't really look like the Marvel character Doctor Strange in my opinion.

Again, the article states that Mads may not be up for Strange, that can't verify that. I really think he's up for the villain role. I think that really seems right. It makes way more sense to me. But...I think, done correctly, he could do the Strange role...

I very much so agree. He would be great as a villain, but I would really be happy if he was Doctor Strange too. He is such a great actor. I really really REALLY hope he gets cast. I was sad when he couldn't do Thor 2, but after seeing the villain, I am fine with it.

I think I'd currently prefer David Tennant playing the role. Hopefully, They choose him for the role. He looks pretty close enough in resemblance to Doctor Strange.
