I think the Cumberbatch thing isn't too far off. He was at the Marvel offices last year with Steven Moffat.

There will always a crop of the same actors on every wish list for a new major franchise. You know that's how studios are.

Johnny Depp needs to stay away from Dr. Strange. the man is poison lately. We don't want another captain jack character

Dr. Strange isn't a captain jack character. The source material is one of the more serious stories Marvel has and Depp fits the character if he could actually get into character rather than playing himself like he does most of the time.

Adrien Brody is another actor Marvel should take a look at as well.

that's exactly my point. He isn't that character and JD would find a way to turn him into it. it's become his tired worn out schtick lately

Why do you think he's not my top choice?

I just don't like Cumberbatch as Strange and would rather see someone else in the role.

Johnny Depp and Tom Hardy both need to stay away from this. Depp has become a joke and Hardy is terribly wrong for the part. Adrien Brody would be awesome. Man is crazy talented and widely underused.
