Looks very promising. Yeah it looks like a Nolan/Wachowski movie but that's Fiege for you. Guardians resembled Star Wars, Avengers Assemble resembled a James Cameron movie and Ant-Man looked like Honey, We Shrunk The Kids. Didn't stop those movies from being, at the very least, good.

Hellraiser: Inferno and The Day The Remake Stood Still aside, I've enjoyed 2 of Scott Derrickson's most recent efforts; Sinister & Deliver Us From Evil. However, the thing that stopped me from loving either of them was their poor third acts/climaxes. I trust Kevin Feige to bring that streak to an end.

Skipping the trailers, I know very little about Doctor Strange and would prefer to stay as in-the-dark as possible until seeing the movie. That said, the stills/posters so far have been hugely promising, and the cast is arguably Marvel's best for a standalone.

I like the feel of the film as evidenced by the trailer. I know next to nothing about Dr. Strange, so it'll be a nice surprise when I eventually get down to watching it.

Since Marvel is copying WB/DC style for this film, I wonder if WB/DC could even copy Marvel style.

Wow I have to say after reading just a few comments I don't know what you all were expecting. I came into this thread to say how amazing this movie looks and I knew nothing about it going in so for everyone else out there that is not familiar with Dr Strange, I think this teaser is going to generate a lot of excitement.

I think that trailer looked awesome

Dr. Strange wouldn't be my first choice of properties to adapt, but I like that they're doing it, and I hope it leads to them working more supernatural into the MCU.

Same here.

It's typical of the internet for people to once again not realize or understand the difference between a teaser trailer and a full length trailer.

I'm glad the Teaser didn't show him in action as Doctor Strange, psychedelic magic and all. People I noticed were already complaining that the movie doesn't seem to have any of that, which is silly considering in the past both the director and Feige have confirmed that it will. They're saving some of the money shots for a full length trailer. A teaser trailer is just that, a tease.
