Ditko is extremely important, but it is impossible to overstate the importance of Gene Colan's work on the book in the 70's. When you look back on Ditko's work in strange, it's already kinda cranked up to 11, but when Colan hops on, it's like shit got divided by zero lol.

I think patience is required on this one before we get a bigger taste of the visual treats to come. As some have mentioned, it is only a teaser after all and shooting just wrapped. Still have high hopes for this film, and me being underwhelmed is pretty much all on me. I forget very few people know much about this character so to give anything more in a teaser than what we received would probably be overload, especially for a marvel film that's still intended to entice large audiences.

Very excited for the film. But the trailer was so-so. I mean, it is just a teaser of sorts anyways so I know we won't see anything really grand just yet. Look forward to the next one when we see Doctor Strange in action and just how magical this thing has a chance of being.

I have high expectations.

I'm almost positive that was not Cumberbatch delivering that line, nothing about it sounds like him to me....but yes, it does sound like House.

Honestly, I think this will be another Iron Man for Marvel. Benedict Cumberbatch will become the very definition of Doctor Strange in the same way Robert Downey Jnr is of Tony Stark.

Just watched the trailer and this looks f'n badass! As a unapologetic fanboy of Christopher Nolan, I'm loving the similarities here with some of his movies. Having no knowledge whatsoever about this character, this just shot right up there with Rouge One as my most anticipated movies for this year!

Also for anybody crapping on this already, your opinion is now completely invalidated due to how badass this looks!

I didn't know anything about the character, other than just a few things heard through the grapevine. I was expecting it to be more colorful, but I am happier with how it looks so far. The look is definitely right up my ally. Definitely really excited for this one.

The most glaring thing is that if McAdams is to be a love interest, Clea is not in the future, which really bums me out. McAdams is a great actor, so it might be a cool idea to have her character continually show up in the mcu like coulson used to.

We already had one rumoured night nurse come and go, so it's a wait and see for me. I'm hoping if it's true, she'll be featured in many mcu films, not specific to Doctor Strange.
